She always greeted me with a friendly smile and made my wait to see the doctor short by getting me in a room. Dr. Foster was very thorough. He is quick and moves you through the process with ease. He quickly diagnosed the problem and symptoms have improved. Later that year I was involved in a car accident and hit from behind. I suffered neck and lower back issues. After exams and x-rays, Dr. Eulau started working on these issues with a variety of services he offers, ie, Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS), heat, adjustments to the neck and back and biofreeze therapy. An MRI was also recommended and I was happy that my PCP concurred and ordered. It's a beautiful thing when a medical doctor is willing to work with a chiropractor for the benefit of the patient! After only a few months of treatment, I was released and feel so much better! Visits to the office are always pleasant. Appointments are easy to make and often can be on the same day. The staff was so warm and greeted me happily upon my arrival, and Karen (office manager) gave me a tour of their offices. Nicole (Dr. D) did a thorough history, even re-asking questions I had answered on the form to make sure she had a full understanding of my injury and where the pain was coming from. She did an adjustment right then and there and the relief was immediate. I iced my back in one of their massage chairs for the next few minutes before making a follow-up appointment. I woke up this morning with significantly less pain than I've had in months -- easily a 50% or more improvement after just one adjustment. Unprofessional! I told the receptionist at that moment that she could cancel all of my appointments because I would not be returning. A few months later I get a bill in the mail for nearly $6000.00, yes.... $6000.00. One of the charges was for the TENS unit that I had already paid for out of pocket. They billed my insurance company $1,586.42 in the attempt to collect. What other word can you describe this situation other than FRAUD?!?! I immediately called and left a message requesting a return call. A couple of days went by with no return call. I called again and again over the course of a couple weeks with no luck speaking to anyone. I called again and was not very nice. I demanded to speak with someone. I was told that DR Q was working with patients all day because they were short staffed. I was promised that I would get a call from him the next day. That didn't happen! I had to call again and left a message and I finally got a call. I scheduled a sit down to review these bogus charges. I of coarse asked about the TENS unit charge, I wanted to know why would they even attempt to bill my insurance when I paid for them myself. One big thing with this TENS charge is the amount they billed for!!! These things are cheap, around $30, the amount I paid for them at the office. Dr Q gave me some ridiculous explanation, "we have to over price things to the insurance company." Bottom line.... you shouldn't have billed for them in the first place!!!! I took my card statement to compare the charges/payments. I don't think he knew what to think at this point so he blamed it on my insurance company for how they paid the claims. Unbelievable! I called the insurance company and they had sent me each and every claim sent by AHC and each claim paid/denied. I was transferred to the fraud line, however they couldn't place fraud charges only because my insurance company denied the claim. I received a new bill for just under $500. I did not and will not pay! They turned it in to a collection agency! We all know what they say about karma... STAY AWAY!!!!! SHADY BUSINESS!!!!
