We sincerely love the friendly staff and Dr. O is tops in our opinion. We recently had the misfortune to visit an orthodontist office here in the Harrisburg area and were sad to know that their patients were not getting excellent treatment in the kind of friendly and relaxed environment that WE are accustomed to. I usually don't like to mention names, but one office was (that begins with gh and ends with osh) was particularly rude. I checked Yelp & after reading the reviews for this office I knew I could call this office for help. Sure enough, when I called and began explaining our dilemma, the sweat young Lady who answered said "come on over," asking only our location - as they were closing at 5pm. We drove an hour (each way) out of our way and they GAVE us a package of bands and wouldn't take any money for them! Actions speak so much louder than words, don't they? If I am ever asked who I would trust in this area with my children's or my own orthodontic needs I know what I will tell them & why. I saw I could trust these Good People at Susquehanna Orthodontics. I mean really "most of us in the US, when we hear of a child needing help of any kind immediately do whatever we can to help"...& I'll be honest, it does boggle my mind that such a small thing was Too much for ANY adult to help with...believe in Karma? They were able to fit him in the same day and fix his retainer. The woman who I spoke with was extremely helpful and nice. I couldnt stress how great this office was and how they went above and beyond to help my son. My son was so relieved to have his retainer get fixed so quickly.

We were met with resistance anytime we inquired about the smallest thing. A faulty pallet expander was put in my sons mouth and after 3 weeks of the staff telling me I was doing something wrong, they finally switched it out. He puts the brackets in MONTHS before they need to be just for the simple fact its "easier for them". No motto of consumer first here at this practice. We finally switched orthodontists after paying this asswipe in full, then had to pay out of pocket again for the job to be done correct. Buyer beware, stay far far away. My biggest parenting fail was letting my child go here!

He raised his voice and made several insults/demands during the visit. He left my teen in tears and caused tremendous anxiety for our family. He only cares about making money, charging high prices, and does not know all the latest orthodontic appliances available, so he is quick to recommend drastic surgery that is unnecessary given his lack of knowledge in the field and caring for the whole patient. I hope your family doesn't make the same mistake that I did, and can avoid a traumatic experience like this.
