The MAs are super hard workers. Shout out to Erika, Dr. Yu's MA. She always goes above and beyond and makes my kids feel calm and actually excited to be there. The pharmacy staff is wonderful. They help me all the time. Thank you to Gabe in pharmacy. He is always smiling from ear to ear his smile is infectious and I can see it thru the mask. I can make a novel about how amazing my kP is. As I stepped to the door there was a white blonde lady, gave me 'Karen' vibes, and immediately said "you were here just now." And I'm standing there confused because I've never seen this woman in my life and I was just trying to get my shot. She then said "you just spoke to my manager" and that was when I realize she must've mistaken me for someone else. She scoffed and didn't bother taking my temperature and just tossed me aside to wait for the manager while everyone else got to go in smoothly. I was on time for my appointment, but waiting for the manager took so long I left. I have just never experienced such discrimination or generalization as an Asian American? Definitely not something I expected at any hospital considering I was wearing a mask so how can they have the audacity to say I was just here. I came in on Wednesday 1/13/21 at 11:45AM if anyone can investigate who was currently the front door shift taking temperatures. I was disappointed in the service here as I wasn't able to get in for no reason, I read the guidelines and none of which I experienced. I may have been disrespected here, but what bothers me the most is that now my YOUNG patients have to wait another week to resume treatment with me due to the ignorance of people who make assumptions. Today was extremely bad weather with winds, rain and cold temperatures. Unfortunately, all the people waiting in line was elderly and not prepared to be getting wet and having to wait outside like this with no shelter etc. When we called and made the appointment, we were promised proper ADA accommodations and was ensured that we would be taken right in and not having to stand in very long lines, especially in the cold and wet weather. The ONE person outside signing everyone in was extremely overwhelmed and which made things even slower. I was very disappointed in the service to the elderly and no special accommodations were made due to the weather etc. Sorry to say it could have been much better organized and should have been much more caring for the elderly and people that needed better ADA accommodations.

Those clients are frequently elderly and medically frail. I was disappointed to see him parking there in the rain. He must have been waiting for the manager of the complex to come because he literally was lounging in the doorways. When she got there, I told her and she rudely cut me off and said he was working. I'm like he's been standing around. So then he sat in her office for another five minutes before I left. At no time did I see him moving things out of his truck. He was fully dressed in rain gear.

Found the place about 1.25 hours before they closed and there was only 2 people waiting in the waiting room. She took my name and told me to have a seat. Couple minutes later she called me up and told me that because I did not have an appointment there was no guarantee that I could get seen today and that I could fill out a form and basically take my chances. If I couldn't get seen they would take my vitals and make me schedule an appointment. Let me begin to say why couldn't the lady on the phone just have told me this? She could have easily told me the place was appointment only. Or have some idea on how their system works since she is their operator! Secondly...why would I want to waste my time waiting there....let them bill my insurance for them to tell me what my temperature, blood pressure, etc is then tell me to make an appointment if I couldn't get seen only to have to come back to get my insurance billed again. Seems like insurance fraud or a way for them to make more money off insurance. Thirdly....I nicely explained my reason for coming in....I should not be driving with how dizzy I am. They were basically forcing me to drive up to the Morgan Hill urgent care which has way better customer service and would have been my first choice if I didnt want to risk a car accident. Care of patients should always come first...not putting someone at risk more so. As someone that works in healthcare myself I will never ever recommend this place to any of my patients

Unfortunately this was the closest place to access gender care under my insurance, I got gender care through here for 2 years and I should've just went somewhere further out where I could find competent doctors. Making appointments or speaking on the phone was always a hassle and I would be given different answers from each different employee I spoke with. I would be told they would fill my prescription, it would go unfilled for days, I'd call back and suddenly I'd be told I needed labwork before they could fill it. Getting labs was a nightmare, I preferred having my pcp request the labs for me so I could get them done along with my regular bloodwork (much more convenient than getting multiple blood draws), I would make sure the doctors sent the nessicary labs over to PP but without fail they always claimed they never recieved the results and forced me to make an appointment and come in just to give them a physical copy of my labs. Oftentimes it would take weeks of playing phone-tag just to get my hormones refilled and I was constantly worried I'd run out. Eventually they would argue with me saying that I HAD to get labs referred through them not my PCP and they gave a lab order to a lab I'd never been to, I asked if I could use the lab I'd been using and they told me it was not under my insurance and never was then hung up on me. After a bunch of hassle I decided to try getting my blood drawn directly at this PP location so there would be no excuse of not having results, I came in for an appt to get that done and was left sitting in the room for almost 2 HOURS while I could hear the employees laughing and messing around almost the whole time, eventually the doctor finally came back in just to tell me that my insurance wouldn't cover labs from them and to stay in the room while they go print a referral, I was so frustrated and anxious that I had a panic attack and had to just walk out. Attempt #2 I made an appt again to get blood drawn here because paying out of pocket was cheap, when I sit in the chair the nurse doesn't seem to know what she's doing and does the blood draw in a strange way and slaps my viens before the draw, when she's done she holds up the vial making a face and mumbles "I don't think this is enough blood" but sends me on my way. A few days later I get a call saying that my labs were extremely out of range and to come back for another blood draw to make sure they didn't mess up. So she gets the premiums when patients are healthy, and then refuses coverage when patients are in need of care. CRIMINALS. They refuse to update their misrepresentation on Anthem's website. The laceration went through my forehead and across each layer to the bone. The ER stitched me up, and it just didn't look right. There was no way I could leave it in the condition it was in. The following Saturday morning my boyfriend made a call to Dr Matthews after being referred by a close family doctor. Dr Matthews went out of his way to come in on a Saturday. He was very kind and understanding. He treated the appointment like any other appointment- turned on music, patiently re-stitched the large laceration, was very professional and had a great conversation with my boyfriend and I. Dr Matthews came in when it was not planned to help a complete stranger out. He made me feel very welcomed and I immediately trusted him. He did phenomenal work on the stitching of my laceration. They were so detailed and aligned. Since the procedure, he has been communicative and responsive with all our questions. I am very grateful for Dr Matthews and highly recommend him. The nurse who took us back to room was so kind and reassuring. When Dr. Scherr came in we immediately felt at ease and in good hands. He took us seriously and made every effort to make an appropriate diagnosis. He offered several options, all of which we accepted and all of which were beneficial. The x-ray tech was the best! Smart, friendly, sweet, funny, excellent! The last person to help brought in a large needle for an IM injection in the buttock. I probably liked her more than my husband did :) Seriously, everyone there last night could not have been kinder, or more respectful of our situation and our time.
