I was doing Orange Theory 4 to 5 days a week and one day I pulled back while rowing in class and my back made a pop sound. Since MAY 2016 to today my back has been bad with a herniated disc. Last month I started going to Dr. Bob and he found my lower left joint in my back was out of place. Three sessions in and the shooting pain is gone. I am a patient of Dr. Bob's for over 20 years. He has helped heal my back and neck pains when I inevitably injure myself. Most importantly, by keeping to a regular schedule of chiropractic maintenance I feel that my overall health is improved and I am less prone to injury. Dr Bob treats my wife and two kids as well. Dr Bob will make you feel better. He helped me after a weekend of mountain running and dog sledding that left me writhing in pain on a Monday morning. I went to physical therapy for 6 months with no results to fix a knee issue. I have been coming to Dr. Bob for 2 months and already feel a worlds better! Okay, this review is long overdue. Dr. Bob has saved me SEVERAL times, each time fitting me into his schedule with little or no warning--even the first time, before I'd become a patient. I went to him the first time because I couldn't walk (just woke up that way) and had no idea what to do. I had an unremarkable and unhelpful experience with a chiropractor many, many years ago, and I wasn't looking for a new one. TWO people who saw me hobbling around that morning (and heard me groaning) recommended Dr. Bob--independently! I took that as some sort of 'sign,' called his practice, and was on his table twenty minutes later. BOOM! A MIRACLE. There's no other way to describe it. Not a biblical type miracle, prooooobably not, but the kind of thing that happens to a guy once or twice in his life, if he's lucky. Something he never thought could happen. The direct application of a knowledge, expertise, method and gift--on a person (me) with zero understanding and even lower expectations--by an absolute master (Dr. Bob) in his field. At a time of crisis. With a result that was so sudden and so incredible, I began to wonder if my pain--now gone--had ever been there at all. One twist of my body, and I could walk, pain-free, as if the fourteen previous hours of scrunched-over, slow-shuffling, whimpering agony had only passed in my imagination. Meaning: DR. BOB IS A FREAKING GENIUS. I suspect that I haven't written a review before because I horribly/selfishly/subconsciously wanted to keep Dr. Bob available (at a moment's notice) and to myself! I mean, if you discover a pill that makes you twenty times as smart, you don't share it with everyone...do you? (Defeats the whole purpose.) And yet such reasoning is so un-Bobbian, I self-shamed me out of it. Why? Because TODAY, Super Bowl Sunday, two years after I last saw Dr. Bob, I woke up unable to move AN INCH. Not my legs, not my arms, not my torso, not my head. I didn't know what I'd done yesterday to cause such a physical apocalypse this morning, but I was suffering as much as I ever had (and I had a heart attack ten months ago). And THAT suffering was when I didn't try to move! My poor children put on headphones to dull my screaming. My wife wanted to call an ambulance, but I wouldn't let her. I knew, I ABSOLUTELY KNEW that this was a Dr. Bob moment. And even though I hadn't seen him in years, even though his office was closed, even though it was 11am on SUPER BOWL SUNDAY, I sent him an email through his website. When I received an automated response a few minutes later, I almost gave up (and cried). Five minutes after that, Dr. Bob himself CALLED ME AT HOME--and I did cry. And then things got even more ridiculous. Dr. Bob drove AN HOUR, picked up some equipment from his office (including a large table and some impressive machinery) and came to heal me at my house. A HOUSE CALL. An hour's drive, each way. On Super Bowl Sunday. WHAT?!?! I'm not related to the guy; I'm just some shmo who desperately needed help, again. And now I'm sitting at my desk, happily typing away, overjoyed that I will be able to watch The Game with friends, and still wondering, as I did the very first time this happened: did I just dream all that? Anyone with this type of problem. Pain in the back, leg, neck...whatever. (I don't know profess to know the limits of his wonder.) Consider yourself blessed to live in the same time and in the same vicinity as this most remarkable resource, a human being of extraordinary compassion and generosity, a healer without peer (or precedent).
