I was unaware that other family members had called and instead of just telling me this and that there was no record, she berated me for being the 4th person to call, and AFTER I apologized for the inconvenience, continued to tell me what a bother this was and that we needed to remove their office from "the list" and even used the phrase "no attorney wants to hear from you 4 times." Of course I don't want to waste anyone's time and I did apologize for doing so, I feel awful for that. No family is perfect and organized, especially in times like these, but a little bit of compassion for someone in a horrible situation would not have hurt. We aren't going to get paid enough from your insurance. I get paid $400 an hour. A will is @ $1200" . really ? Like my dr who has a contract - you do accept services at a discounted rate.
