This is the best company I have ever dealt with. I have called them multiple times and they are prompt, clean, and extremely fast. We have had multiple trees removed, cropped, trimmed on multiple properties. Kind. Direct (which I like the most) and it's taken care of. The previous reviews of 1 star. I'm surprised that you would say anything negative about Roberts n Sons!!! It's probably your fault and you wanted someone to blame.. I will leave 5stars and I would give 10stars for this company. Roberts & Son's Tree Service has removed trees and shrubs from at least 3 of my properties over the last 10 years. He works quickly, safely, and leaves a clean job site. Stay away from this company. I would leave rating of minus 1 star. This company has no kowedge of tree species whatsoever. They cut a major limb off of a decorative tree that will probably not grow even a sprout. read more

We have used Roberts and Son's numerous times over several years, initially on the basis of a recommendation from a practical, 'frugal' friend. They are extremely professional and have added equipment over the years to enable any project and have a climber for those situations where a boom cannot access. Their rates are very reasonable and they are efficient. They will grind the stump after tree removal; they clean up after the job. As to J.B.'s criticism, Mike is often called on for emergency jobs that will, understandably, delay planned, less urgent jobs. The recent wind storm resulted in a number of crisis situations that Mike took care of promptly. He informed us when he had to delay our job, which was not a problem for us. Roberts & Sons was recommended to me by my parents after he trimmed their large birch tree. My folks said he did a decent job, so I tried to schedule him to trim a neighbor's huge weeping willow back to the fence line. It has now been over two weeks and I have yet to see or hear from this guy again. I've called repeatedly, left messages, and sent an email. He finally did return my call on a Friday (a week after my initial call) and said he would call and then come over "probably not until Monday or Tuesday." Welp, I'm still waiting and that was over a week ago. He never called, never showed, and I've never heard from him again. I later found out that my parents also had a horrible time getting hold of this guy. They tried and tried, then finally had to drive out to the guy's house and literally sit outside his house until sometime after 5:00 pm just to talk to him and schedule the tree trim. So, while he never actually did any work for me, I certainly wouldn't recommend him to my worst enemy, let alone my friends and family. He is impossible to schedule, didn't keep his word to me, and the one callback I did get from him was rather surly and rude in tone. Such a lame and stupid way to run a business if you plan to STAY in business. Boo. read more
