I come out to Sioux City every couple of years to see my sister's family, so it was nice to see…read morethat the food scene is expanding here. I love getting boba tea on a hot day so we came here for lunch on a Monday afternoon. There wasn't anyone else dining in, so there wasn't a line or the time to buy to scope the menu, but that was okay. The lady at the counter was super nice and helpful with suggested sandwiches that she likes and that are popular. The space was also cute and well decorated, so it would be a nice place to sit and have lunch, but we were on a mission and had to get our orders to-go. I was surprised to see that they had traditional bahn mis on the menu complete with pâté. Even in Austin (where I live), places will Americanize the sandwiches by not including pâté. So, I got one of those and a Thai tea with boba. You can tell the boba is prepared fresh because the boba had a nice chew to them and they're warm. (If you didn't know, the tapioca pearls are simmered in a simple syrup first before you add them to the tea.) The tea itself wasn't too sweet, which I found welcoming, but if you are looking for the highly sweetened condensed milk flavor of a standard Thai tea, you won't find that here. The traditional banh mi had a great flavor to it, but my only complaint is that it seemed light on the meat compared to what I'm used it. I would definitely come back and try some other tea flavors or even the Korean corn dogs. I was shocked to see them on the menu and didn't notice until it was too late. If you're an adventurous eater, I'd suggest checking those out sometime!

I have to say Billy Boy has the best Soft Serve ice cream in town! We have been to every place in…read morethe area that serves soft serve ice cream & none compare to Billy Boy. The Flavor Bursts are the best! I believe there are 7 flavors but I could be wrong. It's vanilla ice cream with which ever flavor swirled throughout the ice cream. Absolutely delicious... My husband & I go there everyday (except Monday because they're closed on Mondays) for an ice cream date. It's become our little date time away together. My favorite is Black Raspberry. His is Butter Pecan. If you're lucky you get these little pockets of the flavor bursts inside the ice cream. Extra bonus! I believe the other flavors are Strawberry, Root beer, Tropical Orange & Green Apple along with Black Raspberry & Butter Pecan. I'm not sure if I'm missing one or not. The service has always been polite. Depending on what time you go you can either have no wait or a wait. It's hit or miss. You never know but obviously lunch & dinner time are always busy. If you're looking for a great ice cream cone. (Soft serve) Billy Boy is the place to go! They do serve vanilla & chocolate but why get those when you can get a flavor bursts instead?!

I've walked past this place a few times throughout these past few days, and there are ALWAYS lines of cars. The 2 times I've been here, families are always uniting and dining together. It's nice not to have to deal with riffraff while eating. The first time I had Culver's, I had a normal butterburger. I remember it was really good. The fries too. And it was JUST enough food. But this time around, I ordered a bacon deluxe, w/out a bun and a side salad (cuz I need to cut down on my carbs), but without thinking, I got a raspberry vinaigrette, that has 10 grams of sugar. I caught it before emptying the packet completely. Anyway I digress. I was still hungry, in lieu of not having the bun, so i tried the QR code at my table, and ordered a grilled chicken sammich (no bun). Both the burger and chicken were PERFECT. Hot, fresh and moist. I personally think the bun help makes the burger, but still good to me. The place is pretty clean, and all the employees were super nice. There were like 4 of us chit chatting while I ordered. And it's also nice to have your food brought out while dining in. My only gripe, which isn't even a store issue, was trying to sign up for rewards. It kept asking me for information that I had already input, and bounced me around to a couple different pages, frustrating me, and then after everything is submitted, it turns around and tells me there was an error on the web page or something. So I just said screw it, I don't eat here often enough to even use points. All in all, I will be back eventually. Thank you, Culver's, for a great "health conscious" meal!! ***DISCLAIMER*** This pure, uncut, honest review is federally protected under Federal Law by way of Bill #EO14149.
