I've rented from Blackwell for several years and each year they raise the rent while refusing to…read moremake needed repairs to the home. For example, several maintenance requests (that Blackwell verbally agreed to fix nearly three months ago) have been sitting in the online maintenance system with no action or response. The agents I have dealt with are nice in person and make lots of promises to do better, but as soon as I have signed renewal/lease paperwork each year they become downright hostile at times. Perhaps the real estate sales portion of the corporation is different, but the rental management side certainly isn't the small-town hospitality Blackwell tries to market.
