When we got to the shop we were greeted by the service writer Ginger Reynolds, explained to her what noise we were hearing as well as an air leak somewhere...she was very knowledgeable of what may be the problem! Sure enough she was correct,it was the leveling valve that wasn't working as well as some other leaks on the air tank! The shop mechanics and parts dept(sorry we didn't get their names) they were very friendly and very customer oriented that not only did they squeeze us into the shop today and fix our problem, but we purchased 2-legacy leather seats and had them replaced/installed! The one owner I know in the dealership is so nice. Yes Vic. I am talking about you. The few people from the home office I have dealt with are friendly and helpful. The Managers and Supervisors in the Abilene location are good people too. Abilene has a NEW location and building, and it is awesome! Huge! Beautiful! Inviting! Inside the main sales area sit the original CW truck, and another older work truck that has also been renovated. Mechanics. Can you say "Aah! Air conditioning in the shop!"? Huge ceiling fans to circulate the air! Nice break room with a tv included. And more! This new Lone Star Truck Company building is their pilot shop. They are now working on their 2nd new shop in... This place is more convenient for truckers to stop in at since it is right off highway 20 and FM 600. Oh, you want to check it out? Well! October 26, 2017 is the company grand opening to the public. 4-8PM. There will be food, freebies, and even face painting and more for the kiddos! Come on out and see the business and meet all the wonderful people that make this place so great! Apply for a job! Get your big rig scheduled for a tuneup AND a wash! I am a mechanic. Have been for years. I had to bring my service truck to be repaired due to it…read morebeing covered under warranty. Truck was supposed to be done on a Tuesday then Friday then Monday. Showed up Monday morning and was told a couple hours then again at noon then again at 2. Then after the front desk people all went home I was told by the mechanic no promises on today at approximately 6:45 15 mins before close now I have to find a way back home an hour away after waiting in the stinkiest driver lounge I've ever been in. I wish I could get away with this poor of service with my mechanic shop

They either don't have enough staff or they just don't want to work on a truck. If you don't need…read moreyour truck fixed in a timely manner, perhaps they are right for you. If you are like most people or companies, which need their truck returned the next day, or two days max, they are not the repair center for you. Four days, A truck sat there and they never touched it. Sad, very sad. Not a quality service center.
