I wasn't even able to use the voucher because I was unable to find any of the bus stops. It was absolutely ridiculous. I probably walked to at least four places that the map showed was a bus stop only to have the bus pass by me and not stop at six different stops that I walked to. The two cruise port busy stops were no where to be found, no sign no booth no employee.. and the other four stops I walked to also no clear indicator of where the bus is supposed to stop. I did see a bus stop at one point and he barely waited ten seconds before he took off. It was so disappointing. So I did not even get to take the tour. It was a big waste of money. There were no signs. The only bus that did stop to pick me up was an orange bus and he told me I had to go across the street 400 meters for the red bus. Well I forgot my measuring stick and there was no sign for the red bus anywhere. I waited on the other side of the street but in the rain it made no sense to stand there and there was no sign. I tried my best to figure out where the bus stops were while looking at the poor quality map on your website.. I wasn't able to pull up a live view of where the buses were. I wasn't able to get your website working to talk to someone. It was completely disorganized and a terrible experience for something I didn't even get to experience. I wound up taking a taxi to the botanical garden, and chocolate museum which is where I wanted to go.. and then while trying to find the bus stops 12 or 13 or 14 not one red bus stopped for me they just drove by! I was so angry at this point. So I have no idea where the bus stop was supposed to be. Maybe put a sign! A booth! A person! It was terrible!!!!!! A Piss poor awful no experience in the rain on a Sunday. And since you don't do refunds for your incompetence of putting a simple sign where the bus stops should be. I thought you should know how my day went trying to get on your stupid red bus. Which never happened. Not that the drivers stopped anyway! I will say if you are getting off a cruise ship and want to use the hop on bus dont bother! You'll spend more time trying to find the their hop on bus stop at the cruise port than you will just taking a taxi. Dont waste your money!! Do better! Have someone at the port or a sign!

It was such a great tour and I actually liked it more than the other tour in Everett, Washington... This tour was entertaining, informative and will give you a better appreciation for these amazing aircraft. There is only one official tour of the Airbus factory and it is operated by an outside tour company (Globetrotters Tours). The tour costs approximately $26 USD per person and they do offer student and senior citizen discounts. The tour lasts approximately 2.5 hours and it must be booked in advanced through their website. You cannot just show up to the factory without a reservation and expect to go on a tour. The tours do sell out so book one as soon as possible. The tours run everyday except Sundays, with the first tour starting at 9:30 AM and the last tour at 4:30 PM. Young children are not allowed on the tour and the minimum age is 14 years old. And this is a walking tour with lots of walking and several flights of stairs. It's really not suitable for those with mobility issues. The Airbus factory is located approximately 40 miles outside of Hamburg city. The meeting location for the tour is located at the Globetrotters office, just left of the main gate in the Airbus Periport building. There is a gift shop in the Globetrotters office with a small selection of Airbus branded gifts and souvenirs. There is also a convenience store next door if you want to buy some snacks before or after your tour. The convenience store also has a selection of Airbus model planes and other souvenirs. You must arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your tour start time and you will need your passport for identification. The tour starts with a bus ride to the visitor's center, where you will watch a short film on Airbus' history. You will then go on a guided walking tour of the equipment assembly stations for the A320 and A380 family of jets and a bus ride through the campus. Unfortunately, photos are not allowed inside the factory but it's still such a great experience. You'll get to walk the floors and see the employees working hard and the jets up close! The quality of the tour was abysmal. The tour guide did not know his material and I was very disappointed by what we were shown. Too few planes in process and too much slowly driving by windowless buildings. The participants were older and had no clue what they were looking at or about Airbus in general. There were no children or younger adults present who are interested in aviation. PHOTOGRAPHY IS NOT ALLOWED and the guide threatened to have anyone who used their camera excluded from further taking the tour. Truly disappointing....

I went on the 65 minute English language brewery tour on a Saturday afternoon. Jürgen was our tour…read moreguide and he did a great job. In addition to other guests, there was a group of 12 guys who were on a bachelor party. I'm mentioning this because they were very disruptive but that's not Jürgen's fault and he did his best with the situation. There is a brewing room that you walk through with explanations of the different stages of the beer brewing process. In the back is a tasting room and most of the tour took place there. We all sat around a table while the guide poured and explained the beers. There appears to be a slideshow and we looked at some of the slides that identified the three beers we tried but I think because the slides were in German, we didn't see the full presentation. The tour was a nice diversion and although I have been on many brewery tours, I still learned something from this one, particularly about German beer. After the tour, your hand stamp gets you a discount in the gift shop.

Took us for a good ride around the harbour and explained everything. Not a bad choice for a boat tour. They have smaller boats for about 30 odd people and they leave from pier 1 or 2 I believe. I would highly recommend you do a boat tour as it's a great way to see the city from the water.

As I was taking the ferry from the other side of the harbor, it was heading toward Landungsbruecke 1and I saw the paddleboat pass us going in the other direction about 5:20 PM. The boat is fairly comfortable, the driver was very nice and the German part of his tour that I could understand was funny and informative. The tour itself is really interesting and this part of Hamburg is beautiful. I found this boat tour to be more interesting than the harbor tour. Buy tickets at the booth before you get down to the boats!

Had a quick poke round here today to try and walk off my cold. Walking off colds in the cold…read moredoesn't work, so this place was a welcome relief from the cold (the ambient temperature, not the disease). Inside there is quite an impressive scale cardboard model or the development work going on, plus some geeky stuff - a webcam you can steer round (slightly broken). The cafe looked quite nice too, although I didn't stop for tea. More fool me. I was surprised that since 1998 all that seems to have happened is a lot of knocking down and not too much building - but they seem to be cracking on with it now. Oh - and it's free!
