My…read morehusband and I found ourselves feeling quite exhausted by the experience that I shouldn't have booked so late in the day with small children. However, when we received the photos from our session just 24 hours later, we were truly amazed. The images showcased us as the happiest and most beautiful family. Let me set the scene on the real image 2 exhausted parents side eyeing each other and their kids running around in the sand. We've lost complete control of them and are actually trying to control 3 children under the age of 5. They are losing their exhausted minds, while our photographer made miracles happen, capturing the essence of our time on the island. The photographer worked wonders, and it was evident that she dedicated hours to editing our photos. We left the beach that day feeling the onlookers rethinking any thoughts of having children but in contrast, our family appeared in the photos as if we were living our best day on the island, radiating joy and warmth. Going in know it's not cheap. Put it in your budget because it's something that you will have FOREVER. Remember that they are very good at what they do. In my case I checked around and it's just a little less than most but better quality and EXCELLENT customer service. Went in just wanting one family photo and I bought all of them on the thumb drive. The pictures were not taken recently but I still have them and I'm going again to have them taken so I'll update again. The reviews are still good so I wanted to add. Still no buyers remorse. We were so excited to work with Alex. We spoke with him multiple times in planning for our wedding…read moreand he seemed to understand our vision. Our initial conversations were in February, in preparation for our December wedding. We were expecting our first child in June and wanted to have everything in place in advance of the birth. Alex assured us we were on his calendar. A few weeks later, he sent a contract that incorrectly named the groom and lacked important details. After many times contacting him to make the changes, we finally got in touch by phone in early May. At the time he was experiencing family challenges, but again assured us we were on his calendar and that he would get a contract to us as soon as he could. In September, now less than 3 months before our wedding and juggling a 3 month old child, we reached out to finalize our contract with him and he has still not responded, even to say he would not be able to complete the contract. We contacted him by phone, email, and text - twice - but to no avail. We felt totally left in a lurch and scrambling to find a replacement so close to "go time". We hope that Alex's family is safe and healthy and wish him the best. He was kind and passionate about his work, and seemed to be a really great human. However, we cannot recommend him as a photographer and in the end feel extremely frustrated by the experience.
