I typically buy these Caps from a larger supplier in Savannah for a little over $20. And you can find them on the internet for under $15. So when the technician quoted me $45 I was a little shocked. It had been about six months since the last time I purchased one, leaving me unsure of what the current price is. After checking with other suppliers I realized they overcharged me by over +$20. Which is close to double the cost. I understand supply and demand. But this was not peak season. No sense in price gouging a random customer who walks through your door. Not that I did a lot of business there, but now I expect to do even less.
