He left and came back with plastic to tarp off my things. They started on the job. Carrying dozens of five gallon buckets of concrete out of my basement. Getting debris all over my steps and hallway to the front door. They didn't put anything on the floor. I had to clean the steps, hallway floor and basement floor multiple times to get it all up. Less than two hours after they finished the concrete had sunk and wasn't anywhere near level. The entire length of the basement was unlevel. They sent back a different crew to redo it. They did put down a sheet on the floor and stairs which I appreciated. They did get it much more level than the first people but it still isn't great. They sent a final guy for a walk through the next week. I asked why they didn't use a saw to cut a straight line and he said that they only do that if the customer requests it, otherwise they use a jackhammer down the entire floor to cut it out. Now to make it look normal we will have to go through and put self-leveling down. Had I known that my floor wouldn't look just like it did before minus the unpainted new concrete I would've never chosen this company and paid 9,000 for this repair. Spending that much I would just expect for the concrete to look just as good as my floor previously did. Just know that if you chose this company make sure you request them to cut a straight line or you will have an uneven floor all the way across. Julie

Jon was very knowledgeable about my gas log and chimney and was very patient to teach me how to use the fireplace and make certain to use the flue correctly. He inspected the chimney and was pleased to tell me that the fix that was previously done for water damage had been done very well. I was very happy to know there would be no further costs to repair previous issues with the chimney! Jon also educated me on the different types of gas logs and the proper size that would look best in my fireplace. It was the best $95.00 I have spent on this house yet! The best part is that money is eligible to go towards a new gas log set! I will be checking those out next in their showroom! Great service and great technician!!

Still leaking, same day. (told me this is money well spent) work guaranteed. Still leaking. Informed him & I was ignored, never sent receipts as well. Made new appointment for still leaking issue now it's another $1700 and nothing will be credited to me. I wld have paid that the first time but I was told the sealant was the problem, paid for it & told it wld fix it right away. I am a single mother, I work hard, I trusted his word and took food off my plate for this repair. I even pointed out where I thought the issue was and advised again it was only the Sealant. This is cruel, and Sad they won't make it right or at least give me some kind of credit for what I did pay that didnt fix it. If you work HARD for a living DO NOT USE ELY STOKES !!!!!!

I saw a AAA Sealcoating & Paving sign in my area and needed to get my driveway done, so I decided…read moreto give them a call. I was greeted by a woman on the phone and told her I would like to have someone come out and give me an estimate, but I needed to talk to them to explain the details of the project. She stated someone couldn't come out and give me an estimate or talk to me because they bundle all their estimates on certain days of the week and they don't do one on one meetings. So, I said, "Thanks, but I'll just have to take my business elsewhere then." I then found a company to do it. A week or so goes by and I receive a message from someone at AAA named Joseph Sullivan, stating they would like to come out and give me an estimate. I responded to the message and said, "Thanks, but I was told you don't do that by the lady that answers your phone, so I already scheduled someone else, but if for some reason the current company falls through, I will get back in touch and have you give me an estimate." Well, that ended up happening so I got back in touch with AAA. I left them a message on their voicemail and sent Joseph a direct email asking for him to come out and give me an estimate. I received ZERO RESPONSE. That tells me all I need to know about this company and my project is a decent size job. The fact they couldn't come out and talk to me when I originally called because of how they do their estimates was bad enough, but then when I actually allowed them a second chance and they couldn't follow through tells you all you need to know about AAA Sealcoating & Paving. I would seriously think twice about using this company for your driveway needs.

Their crew did an equally excellent job this morning--neatly and efficiently. They even did an extra favor by moving a heavy concrete splasher to a different spot. I would certainly use this company again and highly recommend it. Sandra

If you happen to find yourself losing your entire freshly finished basement to water, I Highly do…read morenot recommend using Michaelis Corporation for water mitigation. From the very beginning, we were put under pressure. The manager who came to give an estimate told us it was basically "now or never" and that if we didn't make a decision right then, he would leave because he had plenty of other other jobs lined up. When you're dealing with water in your home, that kind of pressure forces you into a rushed decision without really understanding what you're agreeing to. The work that followed did not match what we were told or what we were billed for. The biggest issue is they did not even touch the utility room, which is where the water originated from. According to their own photos, there was no extraction, or drying equipment ever in that room which is something we didn't notice until after we found water pooling under furniture weeks later during putting our basement back together. That alone makes no sense for a mitigation job. They told us they would come back the next day to check moisture levels and water percentages. They never came. Then they told us the same thing again the following days. After multiple excuses, instead of ever coming back, they told us to just shut the equipment off ourselves. They still charged us for 4 days. Not only did we find pooled water still sitting under furniture and items on the floor, mold starting, and damage to drywall and studs. Water had also gone underneath cabinetry and the island, and none of that had been removed or handled. So weird.... that's exactly why I called a mitigation company to catch and prevent. They also left a huge mess in our yard for four days that killed our grass, after telling us they would be back the next morning to clean it up. And this was not just debris from our home. It was trash from brand new equipment they brought in and unboxed at our house. We were charged for retrieving equipment from another job site to come to ours, which clearly did not happen as we watched them bring in new equipment and open it in our yard, then leave the packaging behind. EVERY TIME we called the manager he was rude and would say "I'm working 16 hour days you're gonna have to wait." When we were only holding him to what he said he would do. We were also charged for other services we did not receive, including water extraction (we never had water extracted only drying... "after hours" work that took place around 3:30 in the afternoon, extended run time fees when it was there fault they didn't come back to get their equipment, clean up and debris removal (that they left in our yard, charges for the square footage they never touched, and charged us for full scope mitigation even though they didn't touch an entire room or take out the wood tack strip under the carpet. We were charged for 8 things that did not happen. A year later, we are STILL dealing with the aftermath. What should have been handled correctly the first time has turned into more work, more stress, and even more money out of our pocket! We trusted them during a stressful situation and that was a mistake. I wouldn't consider allowing them to do work in your home, but if you do ask questions, document everything, and do not assume the invoice reflects what actually happened. These people don't care about you, your home or your safety.
