The Robson Vet Centre is located at the east end of Bedlington Front Street. There is no public parking available nearby except on the main road outside of the centre, which becomes very crowded. The centre is well signposted and is situated in a row of buildings that look like renovated old brick houses.
The centre has been open for many years now, serving as one of the main veterinary practices in the area. Since neighbouring vets Crofts shut down and moved to Blyth the centre have only had real competition in the local area from the charity organisation PAWS at Bedlington Station. Price wise, treatment at the centre is around the same as Crofts but considerably higher than at PAWS, where a voluntary contribution is requested.
Inside the centre there is a small waiting area and reception. I have always found the staff there very helpful and kind to my animals. I am a dog owner and have been for twenty years and I have visited this centre many times and find that the staff help to calm nervous animals very well and reduce the traumatic experience for pets.
Recently a Pet Supplies Centre opened alonside Robson Prescott which sells all kind of goods for animals including restraints, food and supplements. I have found the opening times to be a bit unpredicatable however. The prices here are a lot higher than at a local supermarket but you can be sure of finding whatever you are after inside as it is a large specialist store.
Overall the Robson Prescott Vet Centre is top quality practice that I'd recommend to friends with pets. read more
