Ty called me back the same day and scheduled my appointment. She didn't charge me a deposit and allowed me to pay the day of my appointment. I even emailed them before the appointment to fill out my forms and they were sent promptly. My actual session with Anne was so amazing. She asked if the pressure and temp were ok. In the end she asked if I had any questions and I told her she did this thing on my back where it felt like she was popping little jelly balls. She explained that's the myofascial and how it builds up and talked about the specific massage Ty does for that. I highly recommend and will be going back! They are pretty booked up but I was still able to book something about two weeks out. Excited to go back.

I contacted Healing Haven to ask if an exception might be made, and the owner called me back and said she normally didn't make exceptions after expirations, but that this time she would. I'm so glad she did because I got to try Shiatsu with Lisa Kruse. OH MY! I'm a convert! It was WONDERFUL, and Lisa Kruse is extremely talented! It's like a combo of Swedish massage therapy, passive stretches like Thai massage, acupressure and more. I was out of town for work and experiencing some tension. Between the work stress and bad weather my body felt very tight. I googled a local massage therapist and called Healing Haven, where the receptionist was very accommodating. At 6pm she managed to squeeze me in for a 7pm appt with no hassle. I got there early to fill out forms and my masseuse was waiting for me with good energy. She took her time to ask me questions and get to know what I wanted out of this experience. I asked for a deep tissue... and I definitely got that plus more. I felt like I was beat up (in a good way). She got in every crevice of my neck, back, shoulders and arms and worked out every kink that was present. We started around 6:50 or so and she went over to 8:15. I was only scheduled for an hour massage but she worked on me until I was complete. (Who doesn't love extra massage time?) Would I go back? Most definitely!!!
