I tried the traditional 60-minute massage. I didn't get a chance to try the hot stones, but I noticed they are available. The staff was professional, friendly, and welcoming. After the massage, they offered complimentary drink options that were not limited to bottled water. That was a very nice touch. One thing I thought was unique, and absolutely enjoyed, was being able to choose the music during the massage. They have Alexa available, so you can ask it to play whatever type of music you like. I chose reggae jazz, which created an almost island-style mood for the appointment. In all the years I've treated myself to massages, this was the first time I had experienced that. I stepped down, met the owner, and decided on a one-hour massage. I requested a strong, hot stone massage for this session, and ended up staying for 2 hours. I had two separate massage therapists, both excellent, professional, and customer-centric. I would highly recommend HHS and look forward to returning weekly for the next few months. Note: Don't be stingy with your tips. These massage therapists put their heart, soul, and physical strength into each session. My Earlier Review: Co-owners, Ali & Cindy opened up this location shortly after the pandemic. The rooms are spacious and always have soothing music in the background to help calm your spirit. I find the staff to be very professional and client oriented. Cindy and Ali are great massage therapists. If I walk in tired and stressed, I always walk out feeling relaxed and refreshed. Finding the right building can be a bit confusing, but they are labeled so that made it easier. The rooms were heated nicely, which was very pleasant given it is so cold out! The massage itself was fabulous. The tables were plush with warm blankets. They started the massage with hot steam and a sugar scrub, which is rare for massages and we definitely appreciated the additional skincare. They then went into a long stroke massage with oil and put a lot of attention to tense areas. Another great part of the massage was the use of hot stones and towels - very relaxing! A feature that I find very unique about Royal Zen's massages is their music choice. The first time my sister and I went it was classic R&B and this time it was smooth jazz. Shanice and Sheniel are experienced enough to massage to the beat of the music, which made the experience very memorable! Overall, Royal Zen is a fantastic place to get a massage!
