My mother's funeral was on a Monday 9/23 and it was a date they forced on us, not when we wanted it. We had to do everything ourselves. They didn't even do the displays or the enlarged picture that goes next to the casket. We were told that they don't offer those service. They didn't even help with floral arrangements we had to do it on our own. The cards they made for my mom were cheap looking,very poorly made out if regular paper. All thither funeral homes do it on a hard stock paper or have them laminated. Not this horrible place, they just used a regular printer paper. We sent them corrections to the obituary and they never got fixed so we shared the wrong information and dates with our loved ones, because of these incapable individuals who do nothing buy use people's grief to earn money. They charged me $600 to see my mother, after they said it would be free. I asked if I could come see her that day once again, they said yes but they'd have to charge me another $6000. Workers were rude, full of attitude and u professionalism. To make it all worse, we were told that all floral arrangements brought to the chapel would be taken on mom's grave. That didn't happen either. They called us 5 mins after the funeral was over to come and pick them up ourselves. The whole funeral cost around $19,000 and they did NOTHING! We had to take care of everything ourselves. Horrible place with horrible people working therez rspecially Taylor. totally useless to help but an expert to charge youfor even breathing near her. They need to be shut down and they all deserve to rot in hell for taking advantage of grieving people.

My father was a vet and Grandview allowed every military right for his service. Grandview was slammed by an evil person calling them un-patriotic. The owner of Grandview is a Lifetime member of the VFW and served our country in combat. Before people judge them they should get all the facts. We would highly recommend Grandview Memorial Gardens!

Closed? Calvary cemetery is not closed despite a Yelp listing saying otherwise. It is anything but,…read moreas I stopped by to pay respects to a friend's family. The entrance gate is down the side street rather than right on the corner; and the main office for information about this cemetery is at another location in town. That's likely causing confusion. Like most places of this kind, it is a peaceful and serene setting along the river-- well, more like a creek now -- but nevertheless you can lose track of the noise and activity around you. The grounds crew does a nice job of keeping the grass trimmed and the bushes and trees from obstructing the view of the markers. The day I was there, the man mowing the grass was kind enough to ask if he could help me find someone. A nice touch -- asking to help me find some-one rather than some-thing. It keeps things personal, as they should be in a place of remembrance like this.

I called there three times and left messages with their answering service asking to find out if I was able to put a flower holder up or what the stipulations are in regards to making it more personable for my Mom since they are three up from the ground and there's nowhere to put anything. They never called me back ..... until today and this is because I told them the last time I called that I was going to get on YELP with my comments. We are already headed home and I was not able to do what I wanted to do for my Mom. My Mother in law had the same problem where they did not call her back. She had questions about their three plots and it took numerous times for anyone to get back with her. Once they have your money that's all they care about.
