Definitely a small town little bar with a mini casino on the left, a handful of tables in the middle, and bar on the right. The food was sufficient and the prices are very reasonable. Most of the clientele appear to be locals with small talk. The bartender doubles as the cook. First time here, and I'll likely be back. Located at the end of bridge by Carver Park and the Clackamas River. Great spot for fishermen!

Greatittle hole in the wall place.

Very biker friendly A classic dive that is kind of quiet, and that's a good thing. Typical bar with typical bar food. Very easy to get to.limited parking. One hot honey behind the bar.

Clam strips, fish sandwich and fries.

The rock wall front of the building is what brought us in. The bacon blue burger is what keeps me coming back.

This spot offers an unexpected menu with everything from steaks, seafood, chicken, sandwiches and more. One of my new favorites is their French dip. So good! Everything we've order has been delicious. Everything is flavorful, well prepared, and served fresh and hot. On nights that they offer seafood or other "special" items it's a limited amount so they'll run out of some things pretty early. Get there for an early dinner if you can. Service is a little hit and miss. We've been in on days that our server was amazing and super friendly and other days that a server barely glanced our direction and never even came to our table. I think a couple of them really focus on their known regulars and less on people they don't immediately recognize. It's a very small dining area with limited seating but there are a few tables outside in a covered area as well. Several video poker machines are available if that's your thing. There's lots of parking, just be careful on your stroll to the door along Hwy 224. Cars are moving fast and focused on making the light more than where you might be walking on the side of the road. It's even a little more sketchy when the summer rafter start hitting the area. Overall, excellent food can be found here and is totally worth checking out. They also have a Facebook page, that I just discovered, that highlights their food offering from day to day. Give it a try!

Walked in to a pretty tiny bar with a very few tables. Half a dozen video poker machines. There is a covered patio. It was pretty cold and one table had multiple smokers. Some ganja was being consumed also. Ate inside. Fairly noisy, however it is a small bar. They have daily specials, today being smoked brisket. Meal came. Brisket was pretty good. Tender though not real smoky. Small corn cob was pretty soft from overcooking. Scalloped potatoes were OK. Just seemed like sliced potatoes with cheese melted on them in the microwave. Toast was fine. Extreme small kitchen. Surprised they can put out so much food from such a tiny area. Service was good and friendly. Definitely a locals hangout Some aspects were fine for what this place is. The smoking policy, which I assume is condoned lost one star automatically

After getting sat down, we just... waited. For about 10-15 minutes, nobody showed up. Eventually a server came and took our order in a very disinterested fashion. We ordered a cocktail, the bruschetta appetizer, and then a burger, the king salmon and a plate of chicken pasta in white sauce for the little one. Everything took forever to come out (even the drink), nobody came out to check or refill waters in the 90 minutes we were there. Cocktail (Spring Break) - 5/5 great! Bruschetta - 3/5. Generally good but the bread was carbonized and as hard as a rock. Burger + fries - 3/5. Burger looked sad but was actually pretty tasty, if a little overcooked. Fries looked great (hand cut) but upon us closer inspection in the low light, you could see they were 50% those tiny peel pieces that get burned when frying. Guys! You are supposed to take those pieces out! Salmon - 3/5. Kind of... fine. A little fishy, not really what i expect for King salmon. Chicken pasta for toddler - 4/5. Actually this was delicious (if a bit overcooked) and it will my leftover lunch (toddler didn't eat it but that isn't the pasta's fault). Total bill for everyone, with tip: $126 So pretty mediocre food, downright bad service, and premium pricing. It's a pass from me!

The menu consists of starters, salads, entrees and drinks. The portions are good size to me; having the side house salad, bruschetta and the starter meatballs were enough for a meal! All three were good. They also have a variety of drinks with classic cocktails, specialty cocktails and a variety of whiskeys to choose from. Parking gets a little crazy on a busy friday night as the lot fills up fast. The brunch menu sounds good so I will have to visit again!

I was running BikePAC at the time and was also an ABATE officer. There's a picture of my 97 Big Dog hanging on the wall. Haven't been here since forever. I have a very dear friend, also a life-long Biker who lives in Sandy and we set up a lunch meet here. Always nice to visit with old friends and to get out Clackamas County way where the folks there are half way normal. The new owners (I guess they've had the place for quite a few years so not really new) did a nice job fixing the place up while still keeping it a Biker friendly gin mill. And they added food which is nice. The chowdah is quite good. Not the east coast creamy chowdah I am used to but instead has a nice spicy punch to it. Generous amount of clams which is always welcome. Decent prices. Of course they have beer and booze which I sadly no longer imbibe. The waitress/barkeep was nice and attentive. I gather she is the owner's daughter. Always available if we wanted something but otherwise left us alone to chat. I was surprised at how uncrowded the place was. Nice, half way warm sunny day you'd thing there would be bikes parked all down the street. But it was just the two of us and a tiny handful of what I assume are regulars. Of course you don't need to be a Biker to feel comfortable here. Anyone who works for a living like truckers, loggers and so on would feel very welcome here. Not a huge bar but ample seating for a goodly crew of guests. There's ample parking out front for bikes and a (free) public parking lot across the street. Happy to see that this place is still up and running.

Buyer Beware. I…read moredon't do reviews. But I felt compelled in this instance: I believe Chester's Pub is a deceptive, predatory business. Judging by the raucous crowd on the patio when we arrived, it did not appear staff was concerned about over serving. Yes, it was a Friday night, but it was not quite 7pm. Further evidence to support this suspicion included: #1) The table next to ours having a member pass out, then rally to vomit violently for several minutes (remember... 7:00), which really did not help our thoughts on food quality, which, prior to witnessing that, was mediocre at best. #2) I said yes to the offer of a 2nd drink. Then, before that one was gone, a 3rd showed up (which I did NOT order). Playing the benefit of the doubt (had I somehow indicated I needed a 3rd...?). I went ahead & decided to just pay for that, but when my bill arrived, I had been charged for FOUR drinks, double what I had actually ordered. I felt this was a predatory maneuver: Over serve guests, hoping they won't notice the over charges. It was my first time visiting, so, perhaps this was an isolated incidence, but it appeared that staff perceived it as normal. I won't return. I advise you to stay absent as well.
