I had Sidra for my stylist. I am not sure if she is the only one who is/was offering that deal, but I am glad that she was the one who did my hair! Sidra has 17 years of experience in this field, and also teaches--so she knows what she's doing. My husband said he would have paid her just to wash my hair, because he knows how much I love to have my hair clean. She did a thorough job, used warm water, and massaged my scalp. It was wonderful. For my style, I asked her to trim my hair and cut my bangs so that they fall over my face a little. Then I wanted wavy curls. Sidra did just that. I was really impressed that she took her time to do it carefully and thoroughly. She didn't rush or treat me as any less important for being a lower paying customer. She spent over an hour to make it just right. My husband and I enjoyed conversing with her meanwhile. I don't know about coloring as I've never dyed my hair, but I would definitely recommend this place for a nice haircut/style. We agreed that we would return at regular price even for another special occasion.

I was asked to say if the massage became painful and was over 5. I continuously had to tell her that it was too much and painful. As soon as she would lighten up she would go back to an intense and almost unbearable pressure. The entire massage and following I felt as if i was being lectured on mechanics of the body, and what I needed to do differently. It's not that I mind helpful advice but this woman seemed as if she simply wanted to boost her self esteem with her vast knowledge. I ended up being in more pain than before the massage and even felt bruised and sore to the touch. I attempted to contact them through there website to let them know this before writing my review. You can do a foot massage in a chair and they do a little of your shoulders as well, body massage which is in a chair or a table massage where you get undressed. You have to know what you are getting yourself into when going to an establishment like this. No frills, no need for fancy things. I do wish they had a rug in the rooms because after you get undressed it's just cold floor. I had no appointment and did the 45 minute (they use a timer) table massage for $43.
