Unfortunately, I purchased a car from this place. They obviously do not do any kind of pre-check on their cars. The car I purchase had more than $6,000 worth of problems on day one. They not only flatly refused to fix any of the problems, they also started arguing with me about it. The person who claims to be the manager there was extremely unfriendly from the start and treated me horribly. Please do not purchase anything from these people. They are super nice and friendly until they have your signature, and then they are through with you. They don't want your repeat business and they don't want your referrals, and you don't want to do business with them and wind up like me. read more

I went in there about a year ago and forgot to write the review but I went in there to check out an extra car for my wife and I arrive there by myself and I am greeted by a rather young lady and she did not know anything about the car she didn't know what engine what transmission she didn't even know about the color I even had to explain to her that the car was repainted and it was not repainted in the right way. I just think that she was just sent out to me to see if her looks could convince me into buying the car but nope that does not work with me. read more

Came here to look at a truck and had an appointment at 2. When we walked in, they told us the guy we had the appointment with was busy and we could wait. Sat in the waiting room for over an hour. Nobody spoke to us and there were multiple employees walking around eating pizza. Never got any service. Finally we just walked out and left. This place is a joke. read more

I bought a truck from Rock Road in mid November and two weeks later it starting leaking fluid. I took it back to them and asked what they could do under the 30 day warranty. I was informed that the service department wasn't "up and running" and that if I could get the problem(s) diagnosed they would tell me what they could do. I had my mechanic look at the car and it turned out to need $3000 worth of work. I checked back in with Rock Road and after a five day wait they informed me they wouldn't cover any of the cost. The car should have been repaired before going on the sales block and if you're going to give people a 30 day warranty it should at least cover something. I bought the car outright so they got all their money upfront. For the amount I spent I expected better service than this. I will never buy another car from you and will recommend others not work with you either. read more

Walk away now. I bought a 2018 Sorento from them on July 27. They sold the car to me with the right light, blinker, and high beam out. Apparently all lights are on the same part. The part costs $650 to replace. When I registered the car I was told at the DMV that it had failed the safety inspection in May (probably because of the light), so they knowingly sold me a car that had failed the safety inspection. I was told by Rock Road Auto Plaza that the car should be under the dealership warranty. Took it to the Kia Dealership to take care of the light and was informed that the car (with a history of "no accidents" according to the listing) had been in a wreck. Half the engine had been replaced with non-Kia parts, so...not covered. I was devastated. Long story short...ended up trading it in and getting another one at the Kia dealership (since who knows what future problems the other one would have), and lost thousands. I should have gone there to begin with. read more

This establishment has the WORST sales manager I have ever met. The cars are also iffy. A broken door handle along with an entire sluuu of things popping up on the vehicles dashboard. Purchased a car from them last year went back and found a beautiful MB GL450. Took the car to be checked out by a Benz dealer and the car had almost 10K in damages, Rock Road did NOT WANT TO FIX ANY OF THE REPAIRS instead suggested I get a "comprehensive warranty" that would cover all the damage. The car had several scratches and a light cover missing on the back right light, they were only willing to fix the 6K dollar repair and to date I have not heard anything back from them because im assuming they took the car to repair shops and didnt want to spend what it would cost to repair the vehicle. They were supposed to refund me my $750 and to date my money is still not in my checking account. Be leary of this place because anyone who would try and sell someone a vehicle in that much need of repair is not someone who has your best interest in mind.....They are used to dealing with a particular demographic and treat everyone as such.....GET A PRE-PURCHASE inspection when buying from this dealership it will save you a lot of headache!! read more

Terrible customer service & treatment - they literally do not care about the customer. I am shocked to see the contrast between their sales staff and the many others that I worked with in the St Louis area. I would not dare even consider visiting this auto or taking my business here. Their business ethics are very concerning. It's about the bottom line here & they are not looking to preserve your opinion of them or their business in the interest of their own agenda. If I had my guess, the positive reviews on here were written by the sales staff themselves & I would encourage you to pay attention to the many negative reviews here & take your business elsewhere. This place is a scam. I brought my opinion to a manager & he responded with complete disregard to my experience or opinion in a very disturbingly unprofessional way. Unbelievable. Unless you want to be contacted excessively & aggressively (7 times over phone & email in only 2 hours, etc) & want to be treated like you have no voice nor opinion worth value to them, do not take your business here. You deserve better than this with your hard earned money & worthwhile time. read more
