We worked with Branon and he was great. He showed up when he said and did a great job. We had the pebble shower pan and it needed to be sealed (was very porous). The job was done in a timely manor and with great follow up for how to care for. They gave us product information to use to have it last. They had also done all our countertops to reseal. (The company that installed the countertops in the first place wanted to charge us much more after only 2 years and obviously did not guarantee their work. We have used Rock Solid Restoration at two of the luxury vacation rental properties we manage to remove the bubbling in the countertop, reseal the countertops and clean the grout in the bathroom. Earlier this year I contacted Brannon of Rock Solid Restoration to seal the stone on my kitchen counter tops and back splash. He came out to bid the job and quoted it at $550. We made a date and he came out to do the work. Much to my surprise the job only took 3 hours. That came out to $183 per hour. Wow! With no other local options I bit the bullet and paid him cash as we agreed. I was expecting great performance from this special sealer that he applied. After the 24 hours curing period I found the counter tops to still absorb water at the same rate as before and any stains or grease was not able to be removed. I contacted Brannon and he stated he would acquire a better product, return to install and if that didn't work, he would refund the money. After many more calls through many months, he finally arrived with a small bottle that he claimed was 'contraband' and was purchased out of state. He spent a whole 20 minutes smearing it on and left. I called him to explain the failed results. He began screaming at me on the phone, yelled that he was going to send me a refund, and hung up on me. It has now been several months and no refund has been received. The company flyer that he handed me on his first visit states "Our estimates are always free and all sealing and epoxy grout work comes with a written guarantee". Don't believe it. I inquired about Brannon's character with Sarah, the manager at Tileco in San Luis Obispo, and she believed that he would follow through and make it right. He didn't. Buyer Beware. read more
