I've brought my son here many times (I'm bald lol) and Jorge and Elvin did quality work. Unfortunately some of the other barbers aren't as talented. Today I booked and paid for an appointment online only to wait 35 minutes once I arrived. Anthony then spent 45 minutes giving a haircut inferior to what I can do honestly. This wasn't the first time we waited so long for an appointment we had already booked. If you have an hour and a half to waste on a Saturday afternoon for a so-so haircut then this is your place, otherwise look elsewhere. read more

couldn't find a right barber since I moved to the East coast, but Sasha is awesome. He makes good conversation, and if you don't wanna talk, he respects that and keeps it silent with no awkwardness. He's been in the business for a long time, and he works by himself at the moment ever since COVID, but he does an amazing job with scheduling and even better with his haircuts. Good barbershop located in the middle of Rockaway Boro. They listen to what you ask them to do which is the most important thing a hair stylist can do. I asked them to take a little off, that's what they did. Pleasant woman cut my hair and unlike a previous reviewer, she didn't flash her hand with religious writing on it to me. I would go back. This is my first and probably only Yelp review because of how disgusted I am with this "Barber Shop". Paid $20 for one of their "Barbers" to not know how to cut hair. Cut my hair the exact way I asked them not to. It seemed like she had no training based on how many times she had to ask the man a few chairs down how the cut my hair. I walked out and had an absolute mess of a haircut. Walked across the street and had Jessica at Jerseys Finest fix it for me. I had come here about 10 times or so, was a decent hair cut most of the time. Recommended the place to some people who tried it out, too. The last time I was there, in the middle of my hair cut, the person who was cutting my hair shoved her hand in my face. She had written a message on it and showed it to me, very close to my face, waiting until I nodded to take it away. It was some religious proselytization message that I found incredibly out of place, rude, and disrespectful. Especially that she waited until the MIDDLE of my hair cut. I couldn't opt not to have her begin my hair cut, and I needed her to finish what she already started. It was bizarre and awkward in a setting like that. Not what I want when I'm in the middle of a hair cut, or in a barbershop pretty much ever. They just lost a few repeat customers. read more

I can't comment on the guy I assume is the owner but I wouldn't let that korean women touch my hair again. It was like she cut it with hedge clippers. When I got home my wife had to even it out and it took weeks to get back in order. If your going to go I would stick with the owner from reading the reviews read more

Love this old school place! I've been going here for a couple of years and have never been disappointed. They take their time cutting hair, unlike many places where you feel you're on a production line and everyone gets the same 5 minute haircut. Friendly service. Quality cuts. And as an extra bonus they'll slap the back of your neck with the big powdered brush when you're finished. read more

Disappointed. My second time same barber cut my hair the first time and did a great job. Gave the exact same instructions as before and I got scalped. I basically got the extreme short haircut that the young guy got before me. What is so hard about the word trim? I could have shaved the sides of head myself without paying someone to do it. Been getting my haircut from Sasha for over 13 years. One time he was on vacation and I really needed cut. I went somewhere else and it felt like I was cheating on my barber!
