Eight years later and the owner still cannot get the facts straight, so let me clarify for anyone…read morereading this. The owner knew this was a rental property. I told him when I called to schedule the repair. I also asked him to call me when the work was done so I could arrange payment, since I was not on site. I was not present, had no knowledge of bleach being in the machine, and the tenants told me it broke mid-cycle. That is outside my control. The issue was never the bleach. It was the failure to communicate. When the technician discovered bleach in the machine, the professional response is to stop and call the customer. That did not happen. Instead, the machine was moved from a tiled area onto carpeted flooring and work continued. The damage was only mentioned after the job was finished. Two simple things could have prevented all of this: make a phone call, or put plastic down before moving the machine onto carpet. Neither happened. We asked for $100. The carpet cost $400 to replace. We acknowledged partial responsibility and were still refused. The owner's response addresses none of this. No explanation for why the bleach discovery was not communicated. No explanation for moving the machine onto unprotected carpet. Only deflection. Everyone makes mistakes. What separates a professional business from the rest is the willingness to own them. Eight years later, that still has not happened here.

We had a problem with our LG Dryer and made an appointment with Keiser's Appliance & Service. The…read morerepair technician, Robbie Jr., was very knowledgeable and a good communicator. Robbie listened to the dryer first and then removed the drum and went inside to check everything was in order. He removed the electrician's tape that held the vent pipe and applied a more durable one that would keep the pipe in place. He checked everything and found my husband's metal collar stay that he says probably was captured in the dryer lint filter and fell in when he took it out to check inside. That piece of metal stay probably caused the grinding noise and burnt smell we had after drying a load of towels. We were very pleased with Robbie's service and it was a pleasure having him here for the repair. He offered to come back if the loud grinding noise returned and said to capture it with our phone so he could hear it. He kindly pushed our washing machine back in as it sits on a drip tray. Excellent service and I won't hesitate to contact Keiser's again in the future.

Do not trust Matthew with Lucky Fix to do a good job or even show up to finish the work!!! I rarely…read moregive reviews, but Matthew asked for over half his pay upfront, because he said his "lady:" was sick and because it was Christmas and he needed to get gifts for the kids. He seemed genuinely nice, and even invited me to the Nazarene Church he attended in Lynchburg. But after the first day where he worked for only an 1.5 hrs and left because his "lady" was unwell, as he called her. His 2nd day of work was even worse. He was supposed to be finishing up a tile job, helping me put in window casements, and base boards. Matt was obviously in over his head. At the end of the few hours he worked that day, again he suddenly had to leave, we noticed his work was not ok. He used screws to adhere the wood to the old brick, ( Historical home) and the screws he used had heads that sat on the casements. I wish I could post pictures. It was the work a 12 year old would do if he was trying to build a tree fort. Yes, I am upset, but mostly because instead of telling me he didn't know how to do the work with plaster and brick instead of drywall and studs, he called to say he was sick with Covid. Then trying to be understanding, I asked him when he would come back and he texted he was visiting his brother and wasn't sure. Needless to say, after trying to be understanding and kind, he still never showed up. Always gave an excuse. Months passed and he never came back. What little he did had to be redone, and he took a few thousand dollars and never returned. HUGE mistake to trust him.
