Previously, I had been very happy with the care received at this clinic until the last visit. The receptionist was snarky with me, and said they wouldn't see me, claiming I owed them over $400; which was simply not true. Apparently someone mixed up my insurance information from the way it sounded; after I rebutted and requested more information about their claim. Instead of correcting their mistake, they blamed me, billing me instead of submitting it properly to the insurance companies. Very disheartening. Being refused care after being wrongly blamed by the receptionist was very disheartening. I knew that I didn't owe them any money. Then she claimed they use a third party billing agency, so there was nothing they could do about it, and I would have to go elsewhere for care. If I were them, I would re-think their billing strategy. And to think I had highly recommended their clinic in the past to others! Not any more. This is one of the reasons I won't submit care quality questionnaires after clinic visits anymore. One just never knows how they might be treated in the future. Bad experience. If they had handled the situation differently, and corrected their problem, or at least been willing to do so, I would have considered continuing giving them my business. The PA seemed good there. I've visited Rockbrook Urgent care a couple times. Once was a more serious event when I stepped on a nail and the other was just a bad sinus infection I needed meds for on a weekend. I have had nothing but pleasant experiences all the way around. The doctor's I've encountered, as well as, the nurse techs have all been wonderfully accommodating and, in my opinion, handled my ailments appropriately. As any urgent care, the wait can be long - but they do give an time estimate and do their best to stick with it. I'm so grateful to have a reliable urgent care nearby. read more

Came 1 hour and 10 minutes before they close and they said due to the wait times being too long they are no longer accepting any more patients. I asked where the other patients were as there are two cars in the whole parking lot. I would assume one is for the front desk person and the other for the practitioner. Not thrilled with how our visit when today Dr. Hanh skipped over us-went back to another patient after dong X-rays and we sat in the waiting room 40 mins and then an 1.5 hours in the room. I came in with exposure to ammonia fumes, I was faint, dizzy, couldn't breath well and almost completely disoriented. The woman at the desk lazily held her mask over her mouth for the first half of our conversation then just stared with it off for the rest. They did not take any of my information, ask anything more past how can they help me. She told me to go to the ER and there was nothing they could do for me. If you want to be taken care of DO NOT GO HERE. I was feeling very unwell and popped in after work. They got me in pretty quickly which was the only good thing about this visit. I was there for a whole hour and was the only patient there so not sure why it was taking so long. The doctor checked my ears and sinuses like normal and said everything looked good. They said there was nothing they could do for me. I was feeling so unwell I went to a different urgent care a couple days later, the doctor saw me within a minute, checked my ears and told my they were both extremely infected and that my sinuses were infected as well. Prescribed me medicine within a minute. Was there for a total of 20 minutes. Rockbrook urgent care is a joke. read more

They are the most incompetent "medical" place that I've ever been. I went in with a painful ear/neck/ jaw. The "doctor" said they had to do a Covid test or they wouldn't treat me, which cost me $150 out of pocket. Then checked my ears, said they looked fine, and said I should go to a dentist. Worst experience. They manipulated my billing in such a manner that I was charged $415.00 for a rapid Covid test. even after ins. deductible I am still at $282.38 out of pocket. I went to Rockbrook on Saturday because I had a large lump that just showed up in my groin area. the wait was short and when the PAC came in to check it, I found out it was a abscess. she started me on antibiotics, but also told me there was a high probability I would have to come back in and have it lanced and packed. turns out I did have to come back in. very professional and explained everything as she went. There's a reason this place has only 3 stars, personally I feel it should be lower by the low quality treatment I received here. I came to an urgent care clinic during my pregnancy because I felt that I had strep throat and it was during the weekend and nothing was open but this. They gave me a strep test, told me it was negative right away and blamed that my sickness was caused by pregnancy. The next day I was still feeling awful and I knew something wasn't right so being that an actual qualified and reliable hospital was open I went there complaining about the same symptoms and that i believed that i had strep throat. The doctor I saw took one look at my throat and told me right away that she didn't even need to do a test because i definitely had strep, but decided to do one anyway for confirmation of what she already knew was true. Long story short this urgent care clinic missed the fact that i had strep throat WHILE I WAS PREGNANT and I'm so lucky that my baby is okay because a professional caught it. So if you want to be charged an outlandish amount of money for low quality service I guess this is definitely the place for you‍ read more

I received a call from the manager of my son's group home that while on the way home from his day services program, the driver of the van had rearended another vehicle at a stop sign. My son and the others in the van appeared to be O.K.; however, by law and in following the agency's policy they are required to get the clients and employees checked out when something like this happens. They took my son to Rockbrook Urgent Care as it was closest to where the accident occurred. The manager of the group home said that because my son was non-verbal the person at Rockbrook Urgent Care (Michelle) refused to see him or treat him. She said he had been in services for years and that they had permission to seek medical treatment and speak on their non-verbal client's behalf. She didn't even ask a doctor or nurse to see my son, she just said "no, we won't see him (or the other client who was with them) because both were non-verbal. I feel this is discriminatory and all they had to do was call me and I could have come there as his mother and legal guardian, but they weren't even willing to do that. I didn't know about this until they had taken him to another clinic where he was treated and they called me to verify the information. The manager of the group home didn't call me until she had him at the second clinic to tell me what had happened to him and why they had sought treatment. Thank God, he was fine--no injuries; but for a medical clinic to deny treatment to a mentally or physically handicapped person is unacceptable and discriminatory. I am not happy and had I known about the accident before this incident took place, I'd have been there in a heartbeat. The agency has been instructed to never take my child there again. He is 43 and functions 9 months to two years old. They wouldn't refuse to treat a baby or toddler if they were non-verbal and if the person helping them hadn't been too lazy to pick up the phone and call me or to go and get a doctor or nurse to speak with my son's group home manager. read more

I came in to be seen by a physician after having been in a motor vehicle accident. All I wanted was to be checked out, but after explaining this to the lady working the front desk, the first thing she said to me was "We don't hand out pain pills." First of all, I didn't ask for pain pills; second of all, that's a very rude comment to make to anyone coming to seek treatment. Also, I'm a nurse, and I would never treat a patient with so much disrespect. Absolutely disgusted with the service. read more

This place is a joke. There is truly a reason it has such a bad rating by people. I vowed never to go there again after they missed diagnosis of flu for me in 2019. I ended up having to go to my regular doctors office and they did it correctly and gave me an antiviral and was feeling much better within two days. Well now they have misdiagnosed both my son and husband. First my son had it and they told us it was rhinovirus. We knew it was something much worse because his symptoms were really bad and he ran a very high fever. My husband caught it from my son and he went in for testing. They still haven't called us with the results so he went to our dr office which called them and it turns out it is influenza. It's too late now to get meds so both he and my som suffered needlessly. If they can't even get a simple flu diagnosis right of which there are reliable tests there is no telling what else they are missing. Seriously, do not go here. TERRIBLE. I have sought care at this Facility twice. The first time was terrible. The second time was worse. I have a sinus infection and I was told to call in three days if I still felt badly. I left Rockbrook and went to a different urgent care (Papillion - EXCELLENT) where I was properly diagnosed, treated, and prescribed an antibiotic. The person who cared for me at Rockbrook said that I "could have a sinus infection" but wanted me to wait three more days. She stated that all I had to do was call and an antibiotic would be prescribed for me - I persisted and asked if I called on Tuesday, was that long enough? She sent me out the door with two packets of sample Mucinex. I asked for a refund of my co-pay, I explained that I am a teacher and that I needed an antibiotic in order to be back to work Monday morning and to be there for my 180 students. She said she hoped I felt better soon. While I understand the fear (I am also a parent) about over prescribing antibiotics, I clearly presented symptoms of a sinus infection and needed treatment. Mucinex was not going to do the job. The care I received at Papilion Urgent Care was far superior to Rockbrook - The physician checked for drug interactions, I received a steroid shot to give instant relief from the pounding headache and congestion, and I was given a prescription for a 10 day cycle of antibiotics. It is now Monday, I was able to go to work today. I still don't feel well and am suffering from the effects of the sinus infection. However, I am optimistic and on the road to recovery. Absolutely terrible service. I never go to the doctor but have a cold that 3 of my family members have had, they all needed antibiotics to get over it. It got to the point of significant throat pain so I came in to be looked at and hopefully get some help. I waited an hour and a half between in the waiting room and the room they stuck me in, first they dont seem to want to listen to me, second they had no communication with what they were doing. I assumed they were taking a swab to see if it was strep, no after 30mins a nurse, not even a doctor came in and said so your covid test is negative. I was disgusted, explained i have pain and dont feel well and she doesn't explain if they know what i have. I ask so do i need meds? The women oh viral infections meds won't work. Okay but they rest of my family had bacterial infections, did they do any tests to see other than covid for gods sake. and all she said was if not better in a week we can get you meds. Then why even come here, shame on anyone in this profession to handle people like this. Arrived at 8AM over Memorial Day weekend needing treatment for pinkeye and a nasty cold/flu bug. After a 30 minute wait, was taken to an exam room by a male nurse / medical assistant who took a history, temp, blood pressure, etc. I'd reference him by name, but he was wearing no identification and did not introduce himself. This gentleman was generally pleasant and seemed competent. Was told to wait for "the provider" to see me. After 5-10 minutes, a Physician's Assistant (not an MD) named Carlos Magistro, PA blew through the door. Without so much as introducing himself, he said, "Hop up there, let me see that eye." Then he looked in my eye, ears, nose, and throat. He asked me if I had alergies. I said, no. Let me repeat, I very clearly said, no. I then tried to tell him the history of my symptoms, how they came on, what I was experiencing, etc. -- and was met with clear disinterest. "I'm going to give you some antibiotics and eye drops," he said. Without so much as saying goodbye, shaking my hand, or, more importantly, giving me even a single instruction for how to treat my conditions or use the medications he was prescribing, he turned tail and was out the door. I didn't time it, but I'm guessing he was in the room for less than 120 seconds. My reaction was: Are you kidding me? I sat there waiting with no sense of what to do next, before the male nurse poked his head in and said, "oh, he called in the prescriptions for you. You can leave." I was less than impressed. I picked up the medications prescribed by PA Magistro at Walgreens ... only to discover that the conjunctivitis (pinkeye) medication was an antihistamine drop. It had an $88 co-pay. Trusting that the providers at Rockbrook Urgent Care had prescribed the right medication, I went home and used the drop. Concerned, however, that Rockbrook Urgent Care had provided me with an eye drop for allergies when I clearly told them I had NO history of allergies, I decided to call back to their office and double check that this was the correct medication. After explaining my situation to the front desk associate who answered the phone, I was put on hold. A couple minutes later, the woman came back on the phone and said, "Oh, Carlos is really sorry, he CALLED IN THE WRONG MEDICATION. We were really slammed this morning. He's called in the right one now." Let me repeat: THE PROVIDER AT ROCKBROOK URGENT CARE CALLED IN THE WRONG PRESCRIPTION ... WHICH I PICKED UP AT THE PHARMACY AND TOOK ... AND THEIR EXCUSE WAS "WE WERE REALLY SLAMMED." Are you serious ... ? I told her the medication he did call in had an $88 co-pay. "Oh, you can return it, if you didn't open it," the woman tells me. I told her I did open it and take it, assuming it was the right medication. "Oh, well, I'm sorry," she replied. Wrong again, Rockbrook Urgent Care. It's against both Nebraska state and U.S. federal regulations for a pharmacy to take back any prescription medication once it leaves the pharmacy. You'd think a physician's office would know that. Well, I'm sorry too, Rockbrook Urgent Care. You've lost my confidence and business forever. Nor will I ever recommend this place to anyone, friend or foe. My experience is the very definition of medical incompetence. I'm just grateful it wasn't a heart medication or something that could have killed me or inflicted serious harm. If you care about your health and want quality medical care ... stay away from this place. read more

Poor billing practices. Billed a simple sore throat visit, no strep, as a 99214, second highest level of care visit. Provider spent less than five minutes with me. Will look for another urgent care. Also, bill for visit from January was not submitted to insurance until 7/30. It appears there are operational challenges. read more

Always have a great experience here but today was the best of all! Was seen by an ER doctor this morning because I thought I had food poisoning. The ER doc was okay but left me with several unanswered questions and a bit scared. I felt obligated to see another provider so I came into Rockbrook Urgent care. I didn't sleep last night and have had quite a stressful day so some tears were shed at the front desk when I was checking in and they offered me tissues immediately! The gals at the front were incredibly helpful on the phone and in person and just overall very nice. I got to the urgent care by about 6:45pm ish and was home an hour later. Kate Shanahan was my provider and in that short time with her she had answered more questions than my 3.5 hour ER visit this morning. She was very kind and understanding and I could tell she genuinely wanted to help me. I am SO thankful to the Rockbrook Urgent Care staff, they really took care of me tonight. read more

If I could rate ZERO, I would. On the positive side, only had to wait around 20 minutes to get in. On the negative side, a strep test and injection of penicillin will run you nearly $350 at this place. Do your homework before going here - you can have the same treatment at one of Hy-Vee's urgent care clinics for under $100. read more
