Visited Dolphin for the first time yesterday and back today with my 2nd auto. Very convenient and easy to work with. Select your wash type, any extra services, pay and drive in. Simple and quite effective. My car(s) needed both inside and outside cleanings. Decent prices, only $25 total for everything. Only complaint is the interiors could have been a bit cleaner and polished. Then again this isn't a full car detail so I can't really complain. I will definitely be back! read more

I used to go to dolphins all the time when I lived in Omaha full time, now that I am only in Omaha 10% of my time I haven't been here in years. I decided my car needed a good cleaning while I was in town for the week so I figured I'd get some premium service for my car. When I arrived I had noticed instantly it changed, now the gas pumps are right up front, I didn't remember that but the price was over .10 cents more than where I had just filled up a couple miles away so I skipped the gas. Then when I got up to the area you choose your wash it was an automated screen which was new, and I was not expecting that. There was a very nice kid waiting by the screen, I couldn't reach the screen so he offered to press the buttons for me and put my card in. He answered all my questions and explained to me that now, I have to pay extra for the interior cleaning, which was the reason I came to Dolphins. So I reluctantly paid the $10 extra dollars to get the inside cleaned, I used to always get the top wash and never paid more than $25 if I remember, but they raised the prices and with adding on the vacuuming I ended up with the middle level wash and I still paid $25 for my services. That alone will deter me from coming back for a while. Now you sit in your car while it's going through the wash, and get out at the vacuum part which was also new but i figure it made no difference either was for me. The kids at the car wash were all very nice and answered all my questions, I felt bad for the kids who had to do the vacuuming inside, between my niece and all the kids I babysit I have in there with me I couldn't even tell you what they might have found in he back seat. I apologized to the kids about how messy it was and they kind of laughed and told me to go wait on the benches. I waited about 10-15 min and they called me over, asked me how the outside looked, and it looked good, they got all the hard to scrub off bugs that a normal wash has refused to get for months so I was happy. The next day I did notice that it seemed like my seats didn't get vacuumed off at all, maybe they just do the floors, I didn't look at the fine details when I got the added on vacuuming but I was fairly disappointed with all the dog hair left on the seats. All in all, they did an ok job, I'll eventually be back, but I need to get done being annoyed at the price increase and lack of personal service first. read more

I am a fan of the new and improved Dolphins car wash (no longer touchless). You get to stay in your vehicle, whether you choose one of their full-service packages, or exterior only. The new wash system is fast, high-pressure, and is now soft cloth, which blows touchless out of the water, IMO. I skipped full-service today and vacuumed my vehicle at their new self-service vacuum area, and was impressed by the changes. I do all the finish work at home, and leave the basics to someone else, so this system makes sense to me. My.mid grade exterior-only wash was only $10, BTW. read more

Absolutely worst experience ever! The car wash ripped off my front grille on my F350 truck. The manager was arrogant and showed no concern that my grille had just been ripped off. He offered to only pay half ! Stay away from this place horrible horrible customer service! Manager was a complete jerk! read more

they make it sound so easy when you sign up but they make it extremely hard to cancel. after submitting the cancellation form on their website you have to call. we have tried to call multiple times and it's over a 30 minute wait each time. they are only open during normal business hours so it's nearly impossible to cancel. read more

I definitely don't do this very often but I'm beyond irritated and disappointed in a local business. I took Haley's little black car to be washed, and have the interior cleaned for her graduation at Dolphins Car Wash on 144th and Center. Let me preface that I am a good customer and am there frequently. After the young men cleaned the interior of her car, the USB ports, phone connections and Sync buttons were not working. I called and they offered a $10 credit. I am appalled by the lack of customer service and accountability. I actually only asked for the amount of the "detailing" which was $30. It will cost Haley $100 to have a diagnostic run by Ford to see what the issue is. Then we go from there. Ironically they don't have a "review" button on their business page. read more

Dolphins what have you done??? I'm not sure when you changed your process but I no longer feel like I get treated like a king. I had to drive my own car through the wash and to top it off I had to pay extra for interior vacuum. To make matters worse I had to buy something inside in order to get cash (5 dollar limit) so I could tip the folks wiping down my car. Premium wash cost 28.05, tire shine, 1.86, with tax total was 32.00. Not counting tip! $37 bucks! It would be different if I just dropped off my car and it got taken care of. Are you just another car wash trying to compete with Tommy's or Russel Speeder??? Dolphins was at another level until now. To their credit my car looked fantastic and the folks that wiped down my car did a great job. On a nice sunny day like today your drive should be packed with cars.... Dolphins, it makes me sad to see this as you were my favorite place to take my car on a weekend. I really enjoyed to relax inside and watch you take care of my car. read more

Where else can you get a full service car wash (inside and out) for $20, in 20 minutes? Nowhere that I know of. Now, the interior of your car won't be perfect - I usually end up touching it up a bit with a wet wipe - but the price is right and so, so quick. The kids who do the cleaning are always sweet and polite, and they work their buns off, regardless of the brutal heat or cold they often work in. So give em a generous tip! Speaking of weather, call ahead of the sky is gloomy or rain is forecast. They sometimes won't open if wet weather is expected. The shop inside Dolphins is fun to peruse, even though I almost never purchase anything. The restroom is squeaky clean, and the full-service gas is priced competitively to anything else self-service in the area. Love Dolphins! read more

I feel like all the negative reviews are from people who don't take care of their vehicles and then expect they're going to get a back-to-factory cleaning for $35. Great place to get your car washed. It runs around $15-20 to for a wash, but that includes cleaning the interior as well. 10 times better than spending $10 at a drive thru car wash. No spots, no smears, no missed spots by the side mirrors. read more

Probably is the very best for car washes in Omaha. For starters the gas price is competitive to that of other stores (and it's full service). Second, prepare to drop $15-25 to get a car clean, but that includes interior, vacuuming, and all windows. In the end, it is well worth the price. This car wash is touch-free and really does clean everything. Most of their detail and drying techs are really good, and for some reason if they missed something, just tell them and they'll fix it. A few tips on Dolphins: 1. Block about a half hour to 45 minutes depending on how busy they are from when your car rolls into the gate up to the time that you roll of the lot. Between vacuuming, washing, and interior cleaning, it really does take time. 2. Remember to tip the tech who dries and cleans at the end, many of them put serious care into making your car look really nice. read more

I'm used to full service car washes that get your car sparkling clean for a whole $12, but that's in a big city. Here there aren't many options so the prices are high and the quality is average. That's my experience anyway. I tried out Dolphin for the first time and I got the most expensive $27 "Platinum Full Service Wash" hoping I'd get the result I wanted. Nope!!! I had to go home and wipe down many parts of the interior. And the windshield and exterior had many dried water drip spots. I know I didn't pay for a "detail", but how hard is it to just wipe down any dust/dirt you see?! So frustrating. read more

Service has dropped and wait time has increased since Rocket took over. I've had a monthly unlimited wash membership for years. I used to pull up and it would read the bar code and open automatically. Now that doesn't work, even if you change to their new system. You have to wait for employee help, and the new system has everything all fouled up. Employees stand around while cars line up. If you get in a slow line they do nothing to help cars get in the right order. In addition, you can no longer get the interior cleaned. I've been going for many, many years, but after the last couple experiences, never again. I sent an email complaining about the service and asking for a refund and never heard a word. read more

My car needed a wash so I though, this place always seems busy. It must be good. Boy was I wrong. Not only did they miss vacuuming the cup holders, wiping down my dashboard, and windshield, but there are water spots all over my truck AND I paid $45 after tip for the damn thing. I thought the platinum package would be reason for a good clean. I was wrong. Only reason I rated 2 stars versus 1 is because the cashier was nice. Will not be back. read more

Just got done with the "new and improved, no longer touchless, no longer human interacting" car wash. 15 bucks to ride through with no dry off. Never again. First, having someone to explain the options would have been nice...you would think with the GOLD wash...a towel dry would be in order...nah. They did a good job. My minivan looked much better out than in. However, I am not impressed by their attention to detail. The vacuuming left plenty of stuff in the nooks and crannies. They are more concerned about speed. The workers were friendly and good natured. I will not hesitate to use Dolphins again. read more

They have made changes and the service is not the same. I paid the extra $10 to have my interior cleaned and they had forgot to put my mirror back into driving position and the inside is filthy. Thought paying for the extra would mean the inside of my car would be clean but there is still stuff all over my dash and my mats are filthy still. I do not recommend coming here anymore. read more

They did a fantastic job cleaning the inside of my car. $30 got me a great car with undercarriage and a clean inside that included door , dash seats and they washed my mats. Everyone was very friendly. I stopped going to Russell Speeders when they raised their prices to $40 for the same service. Absolutely the worst guest experience ever. Went in to get full service shampoo and car wash. The guy came out to tell me the door and window are not working. I just drove up and got out of that door and rolled up/down the window. How in the hell is my door and window broken? I left without a car wash and gained a broken door and window from someone slamming my door. I had to climb through the passenger side just to get in and leave. The owner came out and told me that I was going to hate him because this is the part where he says he was not going to do anything about it. I had to pay $350.00 to get my door and window fixed. By the looks of the reviews here, I'm not the only one disgusted with their guest service. Will never go back and will never recommend this place to anyone. read more

Dolphins Car Wash. I use to love the place. For less than $30 I would get my car Touchless washed, hand dried, vacuumed, windows & interior wiped down, and wheels & tires dressed. It has been a while and I went back today, and boy has it changed. They changed the pricing and how they price. That in itself wouldn't be a big deal if only.... Now to get all I got before it is now $35. Still well worth it if only.... They now use the same old brushes and system found at every other much cheaper car wash. My car still had grime on it, which never occurred with the touchless system they had before. They only half assed the vacuum, I had to come home and finish the job. There was still dust on my dashboard! What was the point of me paying the premium? I am not going back!!! read more

I have two labs and I needed to get the back seat vacuumed out from where they were both in it. I went to Dolphins and asked the person at the front what each level of car wash included. He told me the the basic wash and interior clean would remove the dog hair. I was given back my car with a very clean outside but it looked like they spent all of 3 min vacuuming and cleaning the interior. I would have rather of spent the $20 elsewhere. The nice guy that gave me my car back did take it back through to the vacuum section but they still did not clean it thoroughly. I understand if it would would have been outside of their price range and I needed to buy the upgrade but I was told from the beginning they would clean it thoroughly for the basic price. I most likely will not be back. read more

They cracked my sunroof. I was sitting in the line for 40 minutes with sun-visor open.. my glass sunroof was intact. After the wash I got into my car pulled out of lot and pulled sun visor back to see how well they cleaned it! My sunroof is cracked. I drive immediately back and the manager refused to do anything. He was so arrogant and said "they are a brushless car wash and nothing like this has ever happened in 27 years"! I find that hard to believe because he acted like he's had the same conversation multiple times... he was SO ARROGANT that all he could do for me was to give me the names of other car washes... Really terrible, sadly. I used to love this place. I asked them if they would move any seats for the wash I picked since my seat is broken. They assured me no seats would be moved. They moved it anyway. So far forward it was not drivable. Had to have it towed to a shop, and sat there waiting. Only one young man was kind enough to offer me the name of a mechanic. The manager refunded the wash after I told him to do it, but otherwise told me it wasn't his problem. Had to scramble to get my kids picked up by others, expensive tow, and now a fix. Dolphin couldn't have cared less the impact they had, which isn't a good way to do business. read more

I wanted a truly "touch-less" car wash since I did not want any scuffs or scratches on the paint or wheels often encountered when using other full-service car washes that use spinning brushes. They have changed their car wash completely to more of a "self service" wash. I used to frequent Dolphins and was happy with their service until now. It was all very confusing - nothing was explained to me as I approached the drive through and just guessed on my selections - some of which were worded oddly. After taking myself through the wash, I stood a bit bewildered outside my vehicle and I asked a gentleman wandering about outside if I even get my car wiped or vacuumed now - apparently I needed to know to choose the "towel return service" to even get my car wiped down. Ok?!? So then he explained that this was their way improving the wash, "eliminating people" (jobs?!?) and getting "us" a better car wash. I was then told to use the free vacuums. No. If I wanted to do that - I'd just stay at home. I parked and used whatever I could find to wipe down the inside of my doors and attempt to stop a bit of all the water still running down my car. I used to come here - select the premium wash - my car was vacuumed, wiped down inside and out, glass cleaned, mats washed etc and I was happy to pay the price and a great tip to those who worked on my car. but now my car was dripping, spotty from a "tire shine" that was sprayed on my tires, shiny rims (now spotty) and across the rest of the bottom half of my car. Anyway - I was flabbergasted with the comments and the crappy carwash that I paid $18 for. Never again. read more
