The vacuums are horrible. Most times I go the suction barely is enough to pick up loose dirt on my floor mat. If and when they just clean out the system (which isn't very often) then they may work slightly better but still horrible suction compared to other car washes. Also I look in my mirror at the end of the cycle and a lot of times the wheel cleaner isn't even against my tires. I feel like everyone receives the same car wash. read more

I cancelled my membership, by calling their number, 8 days before my auto payment was supposed to be taken out. They still charged me. I called and they said since it was already taken they can't give it back. I spoke with a manager James and he said the same thing. I stopped in after a 5000 mile road trip and my car was very dirty! I do not live in the area so I was looking for a one time car wash which was exceptionally reasonable. The basic car wash did the trick and made my car look like new again! The cashiers were very friendly and pointing me in the right direction. The car wash was thorough and free. Vacuuming is offered as a courtesy, along with towels for any touchups inside and out. It was very nice that I also got a dashboard wipe to take care of any minor details inside as well. DO NOT EVER COME HERE. My girlfriends car got damaged here TWICE. The first time she went to this place, the entire hood on her car was scratched after she finished the car wash. That was about a year ago. Finally, she went back for the first time since then and got rear ended because the car of the person in the Carwash behind her was NOT in neutral. This was 100% the attendant's fault for not checking their car. There were also TWO OTHER CARS that got damaged WHILE SHE WAS THERE. If I could I would rate this place -1000 stars!! I ended up getting a membership for $19.99 that I was promised wouldnt change. After about 6 months it went up @ $4.00 per month so I had to go back to the car wash and ask to be refunded for their error and for it to be fixed back to $19.99 which took a good hour+ out of my day.. After another few months the same thing happened and was told that once again it was fixed... Well it wasnt! So in looking at my online banking at something completely different, I noticed the monthly fee went up two more times and had been paying nearly $35. I cancelled the membership online and went back and forth with the customer service people demanding for them to cancel my membership! A few months go by and I was STILL being charged. Long story short they continued to charge me AFTER I CANCELLED and had not been even using their service anymore for months. I contacted them again online and they said no refund would be given for my $400+ they'd stolen from my account... This place is A FRAUD!! I intend on pursuing legal action as well!! read more

accidents can happen, and Rocket car wash has insurance but that insurance will never pay you. They put three holes in my tire and said it was a bad patch. three holes one patch. They never took pics of the tire in question. When I asked how they could tell their was a pic of it on their video. A patch is about 1/4 an inch how you could see that is beyond me. Secondly even if the magic patch that filled three holes was real. Why did they let me drive off with a flat tire. The tire that was flat faced the employees as we left, plus the video of the magic patch missing. When Rocket car wash broke my antenna I didn't submit a report, because as I said accidents happen. If there's an accident and you do submit an accident report, YOU'LL NEVER GET COMPENSATED ! read more

My mom and I have been wanting to take our cars in for a full service interior/exterior cleaning for over a year now and we finally made a date. This location was recommended to us by a co-worker and conveniently located just off 140th & Center, across from Oakview Mall. They have a variety of packages ranging from just the exterior for $11.99 to the platinum for $26.99 which includes interior, exterior, tire shine, rain-X, air freshener, etc. Since it had been so long, I opted for the works including a vacuum of the trunk for an extra $1.00. When you get in line, an attendant greets you and presents all your options. When it's your turn, you leave the vehicle with the keys and go inside to pay and wait. The inside, including the restroom, was very clean and pleasant with a waiting area and vehicle-related merchandise to purchase. The outside had some benches in the shade and was festively decorated with pumpkins in the garden area. Though it was busier than I expected for a Tuesday morning (I don't get out much during the weekdays) service was pretty quick. Best of all, the back seat of my grey Civic that was covered in white dog fur looked almost brand new. Those guys really earned their money that day!! read more

I booked an interior detailing, which came with a complimentary car wash. The car wash looked great--after 3 weeks in Minnesota my car had a lot of bug smears! The interior looked pretty good,dashboard, vents and consoles were wiped down nicely. The products they use leaves a bit of a greasy residue. The leather seats didn't seem too greasy. The foot mats were vacuumed and washed nicely, however underneath the carpet didn't seem to be shampooed or vacuumed. The glove compartment and storage console between the front seats were not vacuumed or cleaned. A coffee splash on the ceiling fabric was still present after the detailing. I dropped my car off at 0745; by 2pm I hadn't heard from them so called, and they said they needed another hour. I'm not sure why it took 7 hours, because my car was not detailed that deeply. Cost w/ tax was ~$135. Prolly won't be back. read more

They really try to push you into buying the membership and it is very uncomfortable. So basically I paid $15 for a sales pitch, soap stains, and a vacuuming. The vacuum at least was very powerful (to the point that I had a lot of trouble operating it but that's on me I'm not very strong). The guy operating the car was assumed I knew what I was doing and tried to communicate with me using hand signals but I didn't know what he meant so instead of putting my car in neutral I just coasted bumpily through the car wash. The whole thing took about 5 seconds and now instead of a clean car it is covered in soap streaks. Someone came to check that I was okay and told me that I was supposed to put my car in neutral but did not offer to let me go again. This was definitely a case of user error I admit but I don't know why they assume everyone understands these hand signals. And once he saw that I didn't understand why couldn't he verbally tell me what to do? Cars are not sound proof I would have heard him... I have never had issues with unmanned car washes that illuminate simple instructions. I really like the member's room facilities for interior cleaning and detailing. My car hasn't been cleaned this well since it was new. Friendly service - Poor quality! I just paid $42 for platinum wash with full interior, tire shine & rubber floor mats. It took them about 10 minutes and they were done. I was surprised at how fast it was until I saw the finished product- then I realized how it was so fast. At first enjoyed the service but as time went on and employees changed so did the service levels. several of the employees who guide your vehicle onto the belt couldn't guide their hand into their own pocket. this causes mirrors being hit, being too close to the car in front of you and multiple times for me it has caused the belt to shut down which does not allow wash to finish so back in line you go. the vacuums and supplies were great until the location I go to had been opened for a few months then the clean towels were no longer clean and you run the risk of streaky glass. I canceled my membership online January 31, 2024. I received an email from Rocket on February 29, 2024 staying they had received my email but I need to call ... funny how it took 29 days to tell me this and ... oh by the way charge me for another month of service I did not use. so I called on March 1, 2004 and after being on hold for 63 minutes I was finally able to cancel my membership ... only after I was offered a deep discount on a membership. rocket needs to add more locations and better train their staff to win back my business. read more

I've been coming to Dolphins since it opened. Since the "re-vamp", they took out the personal service, raised the prices, and the cleaning was inferior to what it was. I tried to discuss this with the manager, and she told me "it's state of the art now". Well, sometimes your equipment doesn't make up for a solid business that people actually enjoyed going to! We are recent transplants to Omaha from Chicago, and we moved into the apartment complex right behind Dolphin's. This place leaves me longing for all the independent car washes in Chicago, who will leave your car immaculate for less than $20. We've brought both of our vehicles here (once each), and were left with two of the most half-assed--and yet, most expensive-- interior cleanings I've seen. They didn't touch the cup holders or the spaces between the center console and front seats. They also left milk from my 5 year old's rogue cup splattered all over the leather around my truck's gear shifter. They also will not move anything to vacuum under it, so if you have, say, an umbrella and a bottle of coolant on the floor of the back seat, you better take them inside with you. TL;DR Thoroughly unimpressed with this place. The teenagers that staff it are nice enough, but that's about it. read more

I originally came to Dolphins several years ago, after I'd moved back to the city from California. I was looking for a west-coast style touchless carwash and was thoroughly pleased when I found Dolphins. The attention to detail, the human touch... not only did I take my car, but I convinced my wife that this was THE place to take your car if your wanted it looked after & cleaned properly. We'd drive our cars 20 minutes from midtown in order to take them through Dolphins & I'd feel awesome driving my car out once they had worked their magic. However. Apparently, this fall they changed their system & today was my first time experiencing it. I don't like it. It's not bad per-se, but this is not the kind of service that originally lured me to Dolphins. It's now an overpriced Russell Speeders. You drive in & only interact with an automated kiosk. Via a touchscreen, you choose what wash you want, and select the previously free interior clean, for an extra $10. I really hope that some other company pops up in Omaha to fill the void that Dolphins now leaves, but for now I see no reason for us to drive west when we can just hit up the Russell Speeders on Saddle Creek. Dolphins & Russell Speeders are the same, the latter is just less expensive. read more

My formerly favorite car wash has made some unfortunate changes. I visited the revised Dolphin Car Wash this afternoon. I used to come in at least once per month but those days are over. I really liked the former way of doing business The new Dolphin offers a reduced level of service for significantly more money. I used to purchase the most expensive wash, which included vacuuming and all the extras - under body chassis bath, rust inhibitor, Extreme Shine Wax, poly sealant, wheel cleaner, air freshener, and tire dressing, all for one price. Now, if I recall correctly, I'm required to pay $10.00 *extra* to have the car vacuumed, and an additional $2.00 for tire cleaning. That's 14% more for fewer benefits. Customers now pay for components of service that used to be *included* in the price. Which customers did Dolphin expect this new business model might find appealing? Those with their head in the sand? If I can't find a competitor with a better deal, I may still come in once or twice a year, but my days of routine stops are over. $27.99 was a steep price to pay for a car wash, but I gladly paid it because the service and quality were generally good. But the new price point has just passed my comfort level. I'll start washing my own car if I can't find a comparable car wash. Good luck to Dolphin. If they can convince customers to pay more for less, more power to them. They have the right to run their business however they choose. Meanwhile, I'm scratching my head about the changes. Anyone out there want to start a competing business in the touchless arena offering great service at a fair price? I'll happily be your first customer. read more

If I could give no stars I would! First off I went to this place because I felt this place cared about the person and their vehicle! Now I found out that's not true....they are about the almighty dollar. After the remodel it went to a automated service....22.00 dollars they call a premium car wash is a joke because they have these add ons like towel exchange 5.00, wheels 2.00, interior 10.00...so I got the premium for 22.00, towel exchange 5.00, and wheel service for 2.00....I felt the same as when I Went through from Fantasy's car wash and then they hand me a towel and tell me bring it back for a exchange! What a bunch of crock.....don't waste your time...go to fantasy's for 12.00 dollars or Russel Speeders car wash for about the same! Save your money and your time! Dolphin's Car Wash USED to be the best place to go, and I had been going there loyally for a decade now ... until the owners/management changed in late 2020 and changed were implemented in March of 2021. Multiple services no longer offered, prices changed, processes changed. Many long-time employees have suffered greatly and/or left and went to work at Mojo's Carwash. This was a family establishment- the customers and the employees were close and the environment was amazing. Employees were there for a very long time. I am so sad to see how they are now greatly mistreated and their livelihoods have been negatively affected at the hands of these new Owners/managers.... and they don't even care. We are unable to even speak with them or write a letter/email to express our concerns and disappointment. What an awful, terrible shame. BRING BACK THE MAGIC, DOLPHIN'S !!! read more
