We could not immediately get in touch with the owner of the rental nor his caretaker, but Narrows Pontoon and Cottage rentals not only answered our call, they dispatched Jim and Jack immediately to our rescue! They towed us in to our dock perfectly, and would not take any money for the service, not even a cash tip. They were timely, professional, and saved our Anniversary! We will forever be grateful and will always make sure to send business to the Narrows when we visit the North Chain of Lakes again. Thank you, Jim and Jack!

They have a very sneaky way to double charge you if you have a group. They put your people on sites…read morenot reserved and do not release un reserved sites then charge you for the entire block . Our camping club is pretty angry right now being stiffed for 5 extra sites for 4 days each. When we asked for them to be released they set them as no show and charged us anyway. Now they can double dip on those sites.

I just spoke with the head Pastor, and my family is "welcomed to use the facilities," but they do not support my civil marriage rights. I wonder how he would explain that to our 10 year old child, and how such a stance would prevent him from accessing health care within our family? How upsetting! I encourage everyone camping there to use your privilege and please consider raising this issue. Very unfortunate!

The reason we chose this campground was because we wanted to try a new river to canoe and kayak. The sites were not clearly marked but are rather large (about the only positive thing about the weekend). We did enjoy the time in the river and the excellent weather. The reasons for the low rating are: the bathhouse was never cleaned during the time we were there; the flies were swarming; and no attempt was made to enforce the quiet hours that were posted on the policies sheet we received upon check in. Not only did campers continue their racous behavior well after after midnight; the camp sponsored karaoke dance on Saturday competed with the music blasting from serval camp sites. We have camped in rustic and modern camp grounds and have rarely been this disappojnted. We will not return, nor will we recommend this place.

I don't have time for dishonest , lame business owners

We have been seasonal guests for 2 seasons. The place has gone downhill a great deal from the 2024…read moreseason to the 2025 season. Staff doesn't seem to last a full season. This season the mowing was inconsistent, the pool not cleaned and maintained and the rest rooms and showers not cleaned and properly stocked. There is an unfinished lodge that hasn't changed in 2 years. There are no park scheduled activities. The WiFi is not dependable. The only other amenity is a pickle ball court. Our total cost for 2025 season was $7350. With the additional charges being added for the 2026 season, we would be charged $8550 for the exact same site. Considering the lack of amenities and consistent maintenance, we just don't feel the value justifies the extreme cost.

Paid 90.$ a night and did not have proper working electricity, on day two the electric faulted and completely shut down while we were out. We had to move to another site at 10pm, very difficult as we did not have power to put slide outs in. This is a want to be premier RV park, but will not get there with this kind of service. Manager didn't care or apologize or offer refund and knew about the faulty electric before our arrival as was told to us by maintenance worker.
