Out of all my times coming in and out of Wisconsin I've never stopped here before. Of all the rest stops in the state of Illinois this one is by far to clean us of them all. This place was particularly empty and it was well caps and maintained but it still had that 80s nostalgic style to it. They keep up with the Landscaping here as well this place also features plenty of picnic tables as well overall it's a typical rest stop to come to but I was very pleased with my visit here

The grounds are immaculate and every visit I see someone cleaning. Cans are always emptied and there is never trash on the grounds. There are multiple picnic gazebos and a dog walking area. I don't believe large semis are allowed but RVs are always present. Even the bathrooms are regularly cleaned and well kept. On this visit I had to take a moment to compliment an employee on how well they do and I hope you will do the same if you like what you see. Sometimes we just need to enjoy the small things...

We had about 14 girls in the group, and we needed a limo to drive us from the Rockford area to Lake Geneva and back on a Saturday night. Buff answered the phone when I called. Super-nice guy, real folksy. I don't know if it's just because I'm from Chicago where people -- especially people involved in the limousine industry -- are jerks, but Buff was very nice and helpful. How refreshing! Not your typical limo company guy! Anyway, the whole thing was very straight-forward. Buff gave me a quote on the phone. After a few days of shopping around and comparing prices, AAA Quality Limo had the most reasonable rates, so I called back and made the reservation. On the day of the party, Greg, the driver assigned to our group, called me up to introduce himself. He sounded really friendly, and I could tell that it was going to be a good night. Fast-forward to the pickup, which took place at a bar in Loves Park. Greg showed up about 15 minutes early. He was dressed in a tux -- super classy! We all loaded onto the limo bus, which was spacious and clean, and from then on the night was easy breezy. We got up to Lake Geneva safely. We got back to the Rockford area safely. We were able to stop for bathroom breaks when we needed them. The night went off without a hitch! Highly recommend!

We finally arrived home 2 hours late with a suitcase under my husband's feet and a limo driver seated next to me in back. I realize cars are mechanical and stuff happens. We have been taking limos to and from the airport for the past 5 years as I am handicapped. These limos are worn and torn and the drivers are inexperienced and unprofessional. I tried to get an adjustment from the owner who was offensive and rather than adjusting the current amount offered a future discount. Believe me there will not be a future ride with this company.
