I prepaid for a rental on 06/11/24 and had to cancel due to a family emergency on 06/18/24. After receiving my cancellation confirmation, I called AVIS customer service to inquire about when I would receive my refund. Was told 48 hours. When 48 hours came and went, I called AVIS customer service and inquired about my refund due to me. Was told 3-5 business days. 5 business days go by and no refund. Call for the THIRD time now (on a Thursday) and told I would receive my refund the following Tuesday. Tuesday (07/02/24) rolls around and no refund. Call again to find out what is going on and was told THERE IS NO RECORD OF MY REFUND DUE. So, I request an escalation and they have to send it to the refund department? Wow. Demanded I get a call back from a manager/supervisor and was told that call would be anywhere from 24-48 hours. Really? Takes that long to review after 4 calls and confirmations of my cancellation? WORST RENTAL CAR COMPANY EVER. Do not use this company! Horrible customer service, keeping records, etc. If you do not want to get screwed or taken advantage of, NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY!

He only had a TORE UP Compact Ford Focus with stained seats, smelled horrible and it wouldn't accelerate in a timely manner. It dragged. It was a piece of trash. My family that saw the car were shocked. Several times the car almost stalled out on me. I am disabled with a very bad back and I had a hard time getting in and out of the car. Yet, I was charged for the Standard price. Beware!

We made some calls & were able to limp the trailer 5 miles back to Illinois to Finnegans RV Center. The service manager came right out & looked at the trailer. He verified they had the parts, moved out a job that was in the shop & pulled us right in to be worked on. We did a little shopping in the show room (they had everything we needed). He let know about how long it would be & the parts lady gave a great recommendation for lunch. They had us back on the road in just over 4 hours. Amazing service! Very friendly, helpful & reasonable. Call AAA Quality Limousines for a good time lol…read more I called AAA Quality Limo because I needed to rent a limo for my best friend's bachelorette party. We had about 14 girls in the group, and we needed a limo to drive us from the Rockford area to Lake Geneva and back on a Saturday night. Buff answered the phone when I called. Super-nice guy, real folksy. I don't know if it's just because I'm from Chicago where people -- especially people involved in the limousine industry -- are jerks, but Buff was very nice and helpful. How refreshing! Not your typical limo company guy! Anyway, the whole thing was very straight-forward. Buff gave me a quote on the phone. After a few days of shopping around and comparing prices, AAA Quality Limo had the most reasonable rates, so I called back and made the reservation. On the day of the party, Greg, the driver assigned to our group, called me up to introduce himself. He sounded really friendly, and I could tell that it was going to be a good night. Fast-forward to the pickup, which took place at a bar in Loves Park. Greg showed up about 15 minutes early. He was dressed in a tux -- super classy! We all loaded onto the limo bus, which was spacious and clean, and from then on the night was easy breezy. We got up to Lake Geneva safely. We got back to the Rockford area safely. We have been taking limos to and from the airport for the past 5 years as I am handicapped. These limos are worn and torn and the drivers are inexperienced and unprofessional. I tried to get an adjustment from the owner who was offensive and rather than adjusting the current amount offered a future discount. Believe me there will not be a future ride with this company.

The bus arrived 15 minutes early and was well-kept, clean and fully equipped with dinettes, lounge chairs, sofas, bathroom, sink, microwave, refrigerator and plenty of storage for our luggage. Our driver, Barry, was prompt, professional, very friendly and accommodating. Overall, we were very happy with Rockford Charter Coach and would recommend it to anyone in the Rockford area seeking a hassle-free, professional, and courteous executive limousine service.

The pool looks pretty darn small but if it was winter time I'm sure kids would enjoy having that opportunity to swim. The room was clean and had a rustic modern feel. When the carpet is beige, you know they have to take care of it consistently. Everything had a plush feel. The shower had a rainfall showerhead and a handheld. There's a scent that emanates throughout the hotel and into your room. It's light and adds to the ambiance. It's also in the sheets and linen too. I guess that adds to one of the negatives I list later in that the HVAC seems to be centrally controlled. There was some very minor debris in the sink that may have been left from wiping of a dirty rag, but that was mostly it. Gym was nice and parking was plentiful and free. What I didn't like: - Mini fridge in the room had a lot of snacks and other drinks that I assume were for sale. I usually pack my own food, so those items took up some space in the fridge - I get cold easily, so I try to adjust the thermostat, but it's centrally controlled, which I've never seen... I'm assuming all of the rooms are regulated in this way... - Breakfast bar- had bare minimal which I really don't mind. Menu is limited but still plenty to choose from. We had an order of mussels and a charcuterie tray. Both were very good. Our bartender was Colton and he took good care of us.
