Just had my first appt w/Rhonda, and I'll b back soon! After 14 happy years with a stylist at a well-known salon, she left, so I was in the situation of making a change...not something I do easily! I carefully researched to find someone specializing in color, and with the combo of Yelp and word of mouth, Rhonda's name was consistently mentioned. Based on some scheduling limitations on my part, Rhonda graciously agreed to come in an hour early yesterday. Great first impression! I'd attempted to do my base color in an effort to save time and $$. Since I was 1) in a hurry, and 2)not a contortionist, there were some obvious spots needing correction, which she did expertly and quickly, matching my natural shade. I'd brought in several pics that were helpful, but the degree of highlights was a bit out of my comfort zone, so Rhonda wisely played it on the conservative side. Perfect for a first appt. She "dusted" just the right amount in length to restore my hair to a really healthy state. My highlights look terrific, and I'll probably go a bit bolder next time. I feel like I won the hair lottery finding Rhonda! I needed my platinum hair root growth touched up/blended/cut and had resorted to doing it myself as I have had some bad experiences in the past. Rhonda is EXTREMELY efficient yet never once did I feel like she was rushing to get done. She has everything you could ask for as a stylist-She knows what to do and gets right to work doing it, my hair looks AMAZING, the best platinum I've ever gotten in ONE sitting! Great hair trim, she was not scissor happy. This was the first time I met her and it was like we had known each other for years. I had a "hair accident" when a stylist in another state tried to take me blonde, but I ended up a strong shade of brass. Fortunately I got on a plane to Florida the next day where I wear a hat 90% of the time! I called Inspirations and was recommended to sit with Rockin Rhonda, who was able to squeeze me in on her day off- bless you Rhonda. We talked about my "hair goal" for 15 minutes - I had resigned myself to going back to Brunette but Rhonda thought outside the box here- continued highlighting my "Garfield hair" and taking the majority back to a "brunette 7.5". This process was clearly time and labor intensive (2.5 hrs- same amount of time it took to ruin my hair, actually) and was done in this way to limit further damage to my hair. I need to tell you my experience with this salon. My mother was paralyzed on oct 13 after having an elective epidural,surgery, to say the least my moms life was upside down and after being in the hospital wanted to get her hair done. I looked on line and called inspiration salon Rhonda Keene called me back and said she would come. She cut colored and blew my moms hair and made her feel wonderful....she continued to come every week and helped my mom to feeling so much better each step of her rehab.I cant tell you how amazing Rhonda is for making my mom recover. Since leaving rehab we go every week to see Rhonda at the shop and she does the most amazing highlights and hair style every week for my mom. I had an unfortunate scissor incident and cut my bangs to short. I starting calling salons and no one said they could help me with extensions, that it was a 2 appointment process, etc. Then Inspeiation Salon gave me Rhonda's number, she got back to me right away and told me she would try to help me. I stopped in quickly so she could see the damage done. She squeezed me into her schedule, went and purchased extensions for me which were my exact color and I came in after work for her to put them in. She was seriously my savior because the other issue is I have strawberry blonde hair which is diffuse to match. After she was finished cutting and styling the extensions you couldn't even see them and they were in the front of my face! She did an absolutely amazing job and saved me in a crunch! My hair was ORANGE & had a huge line around my whole head! But Rhonda took GREAT care of me from the moment we spoke on the phone! Rhonda is an incredible beautician/stylist. She has taken care of my hair for many years now, through my many styles; both long and short. I just moved to Sarasota and was scared to look for a new stylist. I read other great reviews on here about Rhonda and made an appointment with her for highlights. I am so very happy I chose Rhonda. I have had a lot of blonde disaster moments in my life and my aging hair can no longer handle mistakes and fixes. I told her what I wanted and she gave me exactly that in about an hour. I like platinum highlights with NO toners. She got it right with no damage to my hair. No purple shampoos needed either. I have been Rhonda's client for at least 5 years, and I've never been disappointed. After my previous hair stylist moved out of state, I found Rhonda right before my daughter's wedding. She did an excellent job coloring my hair with a product that was new to me - got the color just right and a flattering haircut. Later she cut my hair in layers that let my natural waves show, without the need for blow-drying to style it. Rhonda did an amazing job with my hair! I was a little nervous going to a new stylist to take my hair super blonde, but her experience and patience put me at ease right away! She uses top of the line products and was very thorough and detailed, giving me an incredible blonde color that didn't fry my hair like other places have.
