They have also helped me open new accounts and made the process very easy every time. They always take the time to listen and they provide clear answers to all of my questions. They always have great advice regarding accounts. The bank tellers that work there are quite pleasant and there are usually at least two tellers working so if you are there to do something such as cash a check you'll be able to get in and out pretty fast. There are two ATM machines inside this branch just as you walk through the front door and they also have one drive thru ATM outside the bank towards the end of the parking lot. They also have a drive thru teller here if you prefer not to have to get out of the car to do a transaction with a teller. I have known several of the tellers for decades as the bank went from Bank of New England, to Shawmut and other iterations. They are always friendly and helpful. The bankers who sit at desks and help people with customer service are also extremely courteous and knowledgeable. All of the employees say hello to customers they see frequently by name. My Rockland Trust debit card information was stolen and used by someone in another state to make a…read morepurchase of nearly $1,000.00 I was sent a text message from Rockland Trust on that day asking me if I made this purchase, to which I replied "NO", and the card was subsequently frozen and my account was given a provisional credit for that $1,000.00 fraudulent purchase. Fast forward 3 months later, and the provisional credit I had been given was then RESCINDED by Rockland Trust, and I was told they had been given "proof" by the merchant where the fraudulent transaction occurred that it was not fraudulent, despite the fact that the bank itself CONTACTED me that day when the purchase was made as they suspected it to be fraudulent. Now Rockland Trust is telling me there is "nothing more we can do", despite having already being able to provide me a credit for the fraudulent purchase that they TOLD me about the moment it happened. I will very likely be taking my business elsewhere entirely and never banking here again because of this complete failure, on Rockland Trust's part, to protect me and my financial security despite every indication and piece of evidence they had to do so.

I needed to make a wire transfer in order to pay a bill and the bank refused.. I asked why and get.. "We feel as though..." Who the fuck is WE.. this is my money and I needed to pay a bill.. What right does the manager Brunna have to refuse to make a transfer I requested so that I could pay a bill.. Bad enough I had to answer numerous questions and sign a waiver... To be refused because the bank didn't agree.. It's MY money and I worked hard for it.. if I wanna transfer it or fuckin burn it.. that is my decision. I closed my account and will never ever return!
