Took 2 sittings as it is large and very colorful. Let me preface by saying, Rob Castaldo, who worked in the East Stroudsburg location, did my 4 previous tattoos and 8 or 9 of my husband's, was our guy. When he passed away, we were lost. Being going here for years for piercings mostly & some tattooed as well. Tony & Rob have been fantastic for me. I have quite a few piercings now- and I have frequent MRI's & scans. Walked in and was not even greeted or acknowledge. but still sat there gave them my money and got my nose pierced. they didn't go over an after care instruction when I left. I DO NOT recommend this place. If you can go somewhere else try to do that first. My experience started out with getting an ear piercing a couple of weeks ago and that went fine. I feel the people that work there are very short with you and not friendly at all. While getting my ear pierced I made an appointment for a tattoo because they don't do on the spot tattoos. They don't give you any information about who the tattoo artist is or anything about the upcoming appointment except for the date and time. Not informative at all. It was 3 weeks out. I called 24 hours before my tattoo date to see if I could cancel due to a day trip I was planning. They keep your deposit if you don't give a 48-hour notice and he didn't seem like he wanted to be accommodating so I chose to keep my appointment. The very next day, the day of my appointment I got a call from them needing to cancel because the tattoo artist had a nerve problem in his hand and called out. I was very cordial and said that's fine no problem. I'm very nice until your not nice to me. I go in for my tattoo today and again, not informative at all. Never asked me what size I wanted my tattoo to be but just assumed. He printed out a tiny piece of paper of the tattoo and I had to make him reprint it four times to get the size I was looking for. I get the impression he doesn't want to work. Maybe his nerve issue makes it difficult to do long tattoos which he should just let people know up front if that's the case. Not try to rush someone by giving them a small tiny tattoo!!! And at the size I had my tattoo it only took 40 minutes to complete. To me that's not very intelligent and you're wasting time when all you have to do is ask what size the customer wants it. During the initial meet and greet with Anthony (the tattoo artist) he was very mechanical and robotic. Horrible personality and extremely difficult. It's my first time getting a tattoo on my wrist so I didn't know concretely exactly which wrist I wanted it on or at what composition. I was pretty sure I wanted it on my left wrist but wanted the option to see it on both. He had an attitude from the beginning. I told him I wasn't sure if I wanted it facing up or down so I asked if I can have him put the stencil on both wrists and at opposing orientations. He refused to do it and I asked him why not? He said it was a waste of his time! WOW REALLY???? I told him he was being difficult and he got defensive and angry. He had to step away from the booth to go in the back, I guess to take an anger management class or something. He wasted 15 minutes arguing with me on why he would not waste his time putting the stencil on both wrists so I can look in the mirror and compare them to decide which wrist and what orientation I wanted, because it's a permanent thing!!!!!!!! I let him know he was wasting time discussing it. By the time he got done fighting me on why he will not let me see it on both wrists and having his temper tantrum in the back he wasted 20 minutes minimum of MY TIME! ANTHONY IS EXTREMELY IMMATURE, DEFENSIVE, & UNPROFESSIONAL. I offered to have it done with someone else or I was just about ready to call another tattoo shop where I know this would never happen. I have two tattoos and I've never had this experience anywhere. Most places want you to be happy with your tattoo. Getting a tattoo is not an assembly line! I redact my 4 star review. My fault for not educating myself before dropping big $$ here, but the tiny 16G post they charged over $100 for was gold plated titanium at best. I realized this when I took the piercing out for the first time. The post bent because it was so thin and flimsy, which made the earring sit weird on my ear. I'm not the type to undercut a small business, but if I can get the same product from Etsy or Body Art Forms for $20, that's what I'm gonna do from now on. read more

This guy did my piercing so amazing today I got a septum I'm absolutely terrified of needles, but I love piercings haha 100% a curse. But the man who did my piercing was fantastic and hid the needle from me so I didn't freak out and was totally kind and talked me through what he was going to do, the piercing went so easy and I didn't even flinch thanks to the fantastic piercer making me feel comfortable he also did a fantastic job explaining the aftercare to me will def be going here for all my piercings thank you so much!! read more

I was able to walk in and get 4 ear piercings without a wait. They were great with following social distancing and I appreciate that the piercer even showed the details of the new packaging of the sterile tools. The piercings were quick, affordable and the after care sprays were cheap. I would recommend this place to anyone getting pierced. read more

I usually have a very good experience when coming here, however, tonight I left unhappy. I got a writing tattooed above my knee and just a few days ago I got two other tattoos here. Today the artist I had was extremely rude and unprofessional in my opinion. Once he had the stencil on he did not ask me if I liked the placement, I didn't. I had him redo the stencil and asked him to make it slightly off to the side and straightened. I asked him if it was straight and he said yes but after looking at it, it's completely lopsided. Once the tattoo was done the artist did not go over any cleaning instruction, he barely talked the entire time and just seemed to be uninterested. I left with a crooked tattoo and an overall unpleasant experience. read more

I just got my first tattoo at Rock'n Willy's. My brother has gotten several here. First off, the place is CLEAN! Walls, ceiling, floors, bathroom, even the glass counters which show off the studs for piercing are spotless. They have their insurance and license information hanging up. First off, they do tend to work by appointment only, but I was a walk in. When I got there, I explained the custom work that I wanted done and that I wanted it as small as I could get it with color. They explained the coloring process and why it needed to be larger in order for the color to take. It wasn't that much larger than I had anticiapted - maybe an inch longer and half an inch wider. (I measured, the tattoo is 2.75 inches long by 1.75 inches wide, we're still not talking large.) I was given a price up front ($80) and told to initial and sign the paperwork, while my artist, Sean, got ready. He had no problems with my brother coming into the back with me. I was doing this with my bro after all, and it meant a lot for him to be there for me, for both moral and emotional support. Sean was great. He was funny and bright. His area was full of fun drawings including Zero from the Nightmare Before Christmas. As soon as I saw that, I knew I could identify with this guy. He told me that it would hurt like scratching a bad sunburn. I have a pretty high pain tolerance, so I wasn't worried. He was correct. For me, that's exactly what it felt like. He even gave me some advice to give to my cousin who is interested in going into the the business of tattooing, which I thought was a really great and professional gesture. By no means did he have to do that. He positioned the stencil on my leg, so that the tat can only be seen from the side... and it's accurate. If someone is standing in front of me, you can't see it at all. But, if you move to the side - there is this beautiful piece of art there. The whole process took about an hour (from walk in to walk out), was a bonding experience my brother and I will never forget, and was overall a great experience. This tat, I did as a physical expression of the bond between my brother and I. I have zero interest in getting another - even though I thought I would before I got this one. Really, there is nothing in my world stronger than our bond and how we bonded through music. So, anything else pales in comparison. However, if I were to get a second tat, I'd likely go here again. read more

This place is the best! Always welcoming and able to get me in and out in a timely fashion. I've gotten my piercings done here since I was a kid and currently started going back for more every other week or so, and it's always a great experience. Nice staff, but they gave me a crooked belly button piercing... I was super nervous, and they were nice about it. I almost fainted afterwards due to an adrenaline crash (it happens), so I didn't notice it was crooked until after I had left. read more

I got my belly button piercing done here. The place was super clean and sanitary. The staff did not keep me waiting long and both of my friends were allowed in the room. The man who did my piercing was nice. My only complaint is he did not explain the aftercare process very well and when I asked him how long he predicts the healing process will take and when I can change my ring he said two months. This was my first piercing and if my friend had not been there to tell me he was wrong I would have changed it and stopped the after care process after two months. read more

I took my daughter to this establishment to get her belly button done. As part of her sweet 16 birthday present, which she was super excited about getting. Well first of all the owner was kinda rude and just asked for all the paperwork to copy it. Followed by us filling out the standard paperwork. Then we were left standing their while all the staff was looking at us and just continued to talk. Then she was asked to pick out what she wanted and then left waiting again. Finally got to the backroom to do the procedure. As my daughter is excited and very nervous at the same time. The guy was rude and gave her very little instruction or just communicate with her at all. So I the paying customer was supporting and talking to my daughter through the entire process and explained the after care to her. We then proceeded to leave with no acknowledgment of any of the staff. I would ne er recommend this place to anyone! They are over priced, unprofessional, and very rude!!!! read more
