The teachers and leadership are truly amazing and really really care about my son. The facility is so clean and very well lite so you can see when you go into each room not dark like some other establishments. The curriculum is above all else. My son learned Spanish, sign language, math, science and many more things. I honestly wish this school continued into K-5. Our son would be staying. The special bonds the kids made with each classroom as they went through the years is so special. Extra activities included water play days, prom for the class , petting zoo. We are so proud of the progress he has made and the ability the school had to prepare him for 1st grade. Our three year old daughter, who will be attending full time this fall, tried the summer camp program for a week. She came home every day happy and excited to go there full time, and loved her teachers and new friends. The staff makes your feel so welcome when you are dropping off and/or picking up. My wife and I have found ourselves on multiple occasions taking almost an hour to talk about the children, what they are learning, what they are struggling with, or just the weather. I try to tell everyone about this place when they are searching in the area!

As my son goes onto first grade he'll continue spending after-school time at Miss Lee Ann's (which is great because a few of his close kindergarten friends will be there as well!) and my daughter will continue into their preschool program. They were coming from the public school system and we have seen the academic progress since they started at this school. The school has an excellent arts program that provides the children with opportunity of growth and learning. That being said, I am incredibly disappointed with an experience in the cardio/weight room. One of the staff members was so loud and talking to what seemed to be a regular patron. They were so loud, I couldn't even hear the music in my ears! They even put the news on, upped the volume, and started giving commentary. Not professional. In fact, it was infuriating. Upon leaving, I asked to speak to whomever is in charge to put in a formal complaint. They took my name and number, but I never got a call. Probably got thrown out. Despite all this, I go because I love the swim lessons for son. I think everyone else I've dealt with has been nice, but the establishment has definitely been neglected, especially the website! Why can't you post hours of operation, class schedules, and announcements on the website or Facebook? Hire an intern, anything? Yeesh.

AJ was amazing with the kids, guiding them through exciting art activities with so much patience and enthusiasm. She was able to keep a large party of 16 kids engaged even though the age group was a tad on the younger side. One of the coolest parts? AJ even took music requests! The kids got to rock out to Taylor Swift while they painted, crafted, and danced around--it added such a fun, lively vibe to the whole party . We also found out she has a Taylor Swift summer camp posted. The space was bright, colorful, and perfectly set up for little artists to let their imaginations run wild. There's even a Moms' night out option where you can bring your favorite cheese platter! Every child left with their own artwork and a huge smile on their face. It was the kind of party they'll be talking about for weeks. If you're looking for something creative, engaging, and truly joyful for your child's next celebration, we can't recommend AJ at Hammer Stain in North Kingstown enough!

My daughter changed her prepurchased item last minute and the owner was very accommodating. Was a really nice/relaxing time. Would like to go back after being able to explore the store....they teach/do large knitting, custom signs (and its easier than I thought), pottery and more. Great for kids, girls (or guys) night out, or even a team building event!
