Then they have lunch and nap time and the afternoon is play time. If its nice out they all go outside in the back which is very secure and has a jungle gym and other various toys. When its raining or cold they have a big room that they call the "movement room" and its like a mini gymnasium that the kids can run around and play in. They also have different activities during different holidays and even held a picture day with a photographer like they do in grade/high school. The teachers are all really friendly and genuinely care about your child. Lastly and one of my favorite things is that they utilize an app that allows your child's teacher to send you updates throughout the day and they even send you pictures- it always makes me smile when I am at work and get a notification that they posted a picture, it really makes my day!! The owner had assured us that no charges would be made without our approval, yet he went ahead anyway. He later emailed claiming he would issue a refund by check, but that never happened. He continues to claim we gave consent and that the refund was processed--neither of which is true. We never agreed to anything, never signed paperwork, and never received our money back. This place is only interested in taking your money and will say anything to justify it. Avoid at all costs!

It's nice they spend so much time outside; however, having children eat breakfast early in the morning on frigid winter days is just unnecessarily miserable (to name one example). The director suddenly left for weeks and the woman, Stephanie, who was appointed to replace her didn't seem to have any real qualifications. At drop-off and pick-up I also noticed issues with Helen/Mr. Carl and Stephanie treating the other employees poorly. I wouldn't recommend this school to anyone.

I watched for a few minutes and she never looked up from her phone. This continued for atleast 10 minutes. Another child was screaming inside and pounding on the glass door. The teacher never looked or acknowledged any of these kids. 30 minutes later, two additional teachers were outside with their little ones. There was screaming, crying and the teachers were just standing there talking to each other. I saw two teachers grab kids by their wrists to lift them off the ground and carry them inside. These kids looked roughly 1-2 years old!!! I asked a woman who frequents a business across the street what is going on with this daycare and she said she had witnessed similar situations. However, when she called the school, they were extremely rude and defensive. I would want to know this if I was looking at this school to send my child to or if this is where I was paying to send my child. The kids at this age do not have the ability to tell their parents what is happening throughout the day. I would AVOID this place.

My partner…read moreand I had some significant concerns and we sat down two days ago with the director and assistant director, who are mother and daughter. We were concerned about Natalia obsessively singing patriotic songs and saying the Pledge of Allegiance. She came home a few days ago and said very sternly that the assistant director told the kids to tell their parents that they need to stand for the national anthem during the Super Bowl. Of course we told her that that is not true, and tried to discuss that this is a complicated issue and that people have different opinions. We tried to have a calm and rational discussion with the administrators. We explained that when we were in high school we made the choice to not stand for the national anthem. I said that we support people's right to not stand during the national anthem to protest police brutality against people of color and stated we support Black Lives Matter. The assistant director stated that they are training the children to say the Pledge of Allegiance and stand for the national anthem because they will be expected to do this in elementary school. I said that my daughter never has to stand for the national anthem. The director told us we were "making her blood boil and her blood pressure go up," and told us we were not welcome at her school if we did not share her values. She walked out while I was still talking. Also, when we arrive for the meeting there was one staff in charge of 16 preschool students. That is not the appropriate ratio. I observed several kids playing roughly and intervened so that no one would get hurt. The staff was in the other room and did not see what was going on. I also expressed concern about high staff turnover and the assistant director kept insisting it was due to two or three problematic children (whom she identified by name) in my daughter's class. I stated that I had personally observed the administration being harsh and punitive with staff and that is likely the reason for turnover. I stated that this was an issue when Natalia was in a class without those "problem students." We also expressed concern about staff speaking harshly to several students and being completely rigid and inflexible with parents, staff, and students.
