I did a walk in on Saturday to get a traditional style tattoo of a dagger going through a rose. Connor ended up being the artist who was able to draw up the design and tattoo me. He did an incredible job! It was even better than the reference picture and the shading on it blew me away! The vibes here were great as well. Got my tat done here today and had a great experience!! I arrived just after opening and was able to get this done as a walk in. Tim was my guy, and he was super helpful and fixed a few issues I had with my design, and he did an awesome job!! I really wanted to make sure this was symmetrical and centered well, and he exceeded my expectations. He also made sure to use a super fine point tip, which is an even better look than I hoped. The studio was very chill and had a cool vibe, and Tim really made me feel at ease and relaxed about the whole process. He is a pro, and if you need any sort of outlined style this is your place. I walked in inquiring a small tattoo to which I was creating conversation asking questions about some of the patchwork Tattoos that they had drawn up. To which I had mentioned that I had recently I had started tattooing on myself to which they started bashing me about "Not doing it correctly, and that I was being disrespectful by coming in and asking questions about tattooing... and As far as how long they have been in the game and such to which they replied that they do this "Is a Job and that we dont scar ourselves up with crappy things we are going to regret" Never once Did I say that I regret any of my Art on my body and or that I had harmed my body while tattooing , I do not recommend going to the Tattoo Parlor because they are extremely unprofessional and create a bad image of the Tattoo community. Once again, Silas Baker kills it! He is the all-time Tatty-Blast Master! This time it wasn't me getting Zippity-Zapped, but I was there for support of a friend. I have been going here since I was about 18.5 years old for tattoos (Well over 5 years) and have been more than pleased each and every time. I have a full sleeve done by Silas Baker (piece by piece over approximately a 3 year span). My friend had a 2PM appointment. When we arrived he was blown away with the design Silas came up with. He got a Medusa piece with a flower and sword. The piece is Traditional Style with a more lenient color palate. The ambiance and decor inside Silas' room is extremely chill. He has a room filled with art and cool trinkets. He plays relaxing music the entire time and always carries on good conversation. I don't know if I'll ever go to anyone else for tattoos besides Silas ever again. I'm just always extremely pleased with the results. He killed it again this time for my friend! I made an appointment to get the sample tattoo done on my arm but they didn't get back to me. I went in and I also told the person working the front desk that I call and try to make an appointment and she's was like yeah, I was going to get back to you it was 2 days later mind you. I had a few examples that I liked but none were totally what I wanted. Between our consult and the examples Jesse somehow designed the tattoo that I dreamed of but couldn't quite articulate. He recommended "Joey" to help me, Mike said he may have time this Saturday or the following Wednesday (May 12). Joey comes out, tells me pretty much the complete OPPOSITE of what Mike and I had discussed and then proceeds to tell me he didn't have any openings until JULY 6th!!! The girl that did my piercings, Shelly, was polite and very professional. She definitely knew what she was doing. She explained to me step by step, gave great aftercare instructions and we were in and out in 30 minutes or less. Cail was my piercer and did a perfect job with placement, great technique (no pain!) and hygiene, and a great job explaining procedures and aftercare. If I could give this place negative stars, I would. I went in about a month ago and got a forward helix ear piercing from Jared. Last night, I brushed my hand on my ear and felt something crusty, which I thought was odd since it's been healed for awhile and hasn't had any crust in weeks. So I went to get a Q-tip and the piercing aftercare to clean it up, and the crusty part came off, but so did the piercing - turns out the crusty part was the piece of my ear holding the piercing into place. So I am now not only missing the piercing but a chunk out of my ear as well. I contacted Jared to tell him about this, and his only response was " ouch, I'm sorry that had to not feel great." (no duh) So then he offered to re-pierce me for free (because the first one was so impressive?). I responded that I would really rather a refund. His response was this: "we do not offer refunds. on the consent form you signed it says that understand the inherent risks associated with piercings and this is one of those risks. So if you'd like Id love to get you re-pierced when it's healed and if not I apologize there's nothing else I can do for you." I've had my fair share of piercings, and despite Jared's comments I fully understand the form I read. I'm a law student and know what rights I signed away. Losing a piece of my ear and become forever deformed is NOT a usual inherent risk of piercing, nor something I signed my rights away on. It was not infected, my ear did not reject it, and I kept it clean as I was supposed to. It was just a bad piercing. I assumed as an "artist" he would recognize this and have more respect for his reputation, and all I was asking for was my money back (though it looks like I should take it to small claims court and ask for the piece of my ear back instead). Not only did he negligently pierce me, but he was rude and couldn't even acknowledge he did a bad job. Terrible piercing, worse customer service. read more
