The student is held at a much higher standard, causing there to be many restrictions, even in the higher grades. Most teachers care not only about what they teach, but the students themselves. While this school excells in teaching work habits, it seems somewhat lacking in teaching social habits. You will most likely not have the same social-life experience that most high schools offer. Relationships between students seem strictly taboo similarly to relationships with coworkers. Despite this, I found my best friend here, and had a wonderful experience I will never forget. My sisters and I went to this middle school. Although, they went when it was at the former…read morelocation. Generally, this middle school was okay and I went through it fine, but for some reason the culture there was a little trashy. I don't know. The high school(WJ) was significantly more classy and preppy, but this middle school was a little bit nasty. I liked the classes I took and all the electives I could take. It did prepare me for high school. At that time in the mid-90s, alternative rock music was famous and Friends was on TV. It was a good time in the US. We liked meeting other schoolmates in middle school and going through high school, but it got a bit dramatic and cliquey...as well there are some snobby people and you just had to sit through it all in high school because after all, you are not in private school!!

It is a wonderful school but the teachers are a little harsh about the phone policy. The teachers sometimes will turn a blind eye whether it be on purpose or not when fights break out. The teaching is also a bit strict but otherwise it's a great school.

I truly believe any facility dedicated to the education of our future (our children) should be given five stars. I was a little perplexed about the size of the lockers. They look like they belonged in an elementary school. In this day and age where high schoolers are 10 feet tall, I don't think they should have to get on their knees to get in and out of their lockers. Maybe that is their exercise for the day. Who knows. The school was very clean and their trophy case was loaded. I would have taken a picture, however I hate to be in pictures (via reflective glass).

Voting Poll Place Review:…read more I've been here twice to cast my votes & the Volunteers are friendly & helpful. Now, with the exception of the students lending a hand of almost nothing (one didn't know the street that was facing the exit & the other didn't know how to exit to the parking lot), hope they are getting good grades nonetheless. Upon entering there were a few group of campaign workers who respected people's space & not force any persuasion. The signage made it easy to get to the polling place that was located in the Gymnasium, check in & cast your ballot. Thanks to the Volunteers for making the Voters comfortable while casting their votes. This polling location was open to 7PM.

Happy my grandkin have this public school to attend - quality education and opportunities for…read moresports and band and all sorts of extra curricular activities that support learning about life, purpose, talents, skills, preferences, careers, humanity... of course there are areas that could be improved (as is true of all schools) -- here, there are more students than planned for the space. But still, the staff and faculty generally and genuinely care for the students, and the indoor and outdoor spaces are maintained, and the students are encouraged to grow -- as individuals and also as a community.
