We visited Rocky Hock Campground with 3 other couples & had a great time. We had a beautiful view of the pond & had such a nice relaxing time here. Perfect for a nice little getaway. read more

What a wonderful campground and community!! This place was built with lots of love and care. Such a peaceful relaxing place in a beautiful setting. Make sure you're here on a Friday night to enjoy the live music and dancing at David's New Red Barn. We'll be back again to stay here. read more

Nice, friendly Campground. It's like family. The owners are wonderful people. They have a dance , live music every Friday night at David's New Red Barn on site. Totally awesome place. I would go back time and time again. read more

Rocky Hock Campground is located 10 miles North of Historical Edenton. Open All Year Round with 37 large RV sites (40x70) with full hook up 30/50 amp. Includes water, electric & sewer and Wi-Fi service. Picnic tables and burn rings on site. No grills, you have to supply your own. No swimming pool and no swimming allowed in pond. Things to do here. Fishing pond, Paddle boats, Par 3 Golf Course and boat ramp access to the Chowan River. Every Friday night Live music (Classic Country) & Every First Saturday of each month (Beach & Oldies) at David's New Red Barn which is on location. Come on down to have a relaxing weekend by the campfire. Peaceful country atmosphere. Only 1- 1/2 hrs. from the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Yes, we are pet friendly! Meet the Business Owner: Keith H.

Keith Harrell is the owner of Rocky Hock Campground along with his wife Phyllis & son Shane that runs it. How we got started? Keith had a dream to build a campground here in the Edenton area. Years ago the property was a dirt pit then farm land. So we planned to build the campground which is 10 miles North of Edenton. RV campers can stop by while traveling and or wanting to visit Historical Edenton. The Outer Banks is only 1-1/2hrs from here. What a good stopping point to rest & relax!
