We headed to the dock to find out about a boat tour but the company we were searching was no longer…read morein business. We learned this from the most engaging couple, Captain Jack and Mate Marilyn, who just happened to have their own boat excursion company. We decided to cruise with them the next morning around 9:30. We arrived about 9:10, they welcomed us aboard and we were off on a 90 minute excursion. The boat is electric so we were able to approach birding areas without frightening the little critters, such as the nesting Ospreys. We were also able to have delightful conversations about nature, the effects of Hurricane Michael on the area, the lovely church where Marilyn and Jack attend and many more interesting facts about the New Bern area. We were totally mesmerized with the outing and the 90 minutes passed much too fast. It was a beautiful day, an enchanting "voyage" and a totally enjoyable adventure with Dragonfly Cruises. By all means do it when you're in New Bern!

He…read moredidn't have a canopy when he took us out, which we didn't mind, but he has ordered one to make his guests more comfortable. He will give you history as you tour, or he'll be quiet and just let you enjoy the ride. His prices are very fair, and he insisted he wanted no more than he quoted us, but we tipped him anyway because he deserved it! He can take you for as little as 30 minutes up to hours! The couple before us went out for three hours, and he docked so they could swim for a while. Scott's boat tour was wonderful! He had plenty of cold water for us to drink which was so appreciated. Check him out when you're in town. It was something different and a lot of fun. The only issue now is - we want a boat.

Was really pleased to see they had a boat available to use and booking was quite simple. The prices beat anywhere else we saw online and the service that came with it was exceptional. They showed up right on time, with a full tank of gas and had us on the water within minutes. I appreciated the quick overview of not only the boat but some suggestions on where to go as we are new to the area. We did a half day rental and let me tell you that time goes by quickly on the water. We texted to let them know we were returning to the dock and again within minutes they were helping us off the boat and allowing us to continue our weekend without the hassle of loading, refilling with gas and wash down. If you are looking for more ways to explore the area, by water is the way to do it and these guys are the company to do it with. Can't thank them enough!

My family and I met the tiki boat at lynnhaven public boat ramp. Captain Robbie was our guide he greeted everyone with a smile and a lei that was a nice touch. The boat was a 30 by 15 foot pontoon boat wonderfully decorated tiki style with ample comfortable seating no matter where you sit had a great view of the inlet.Learned a lot about the inlet on the cruise over to our first destination lots of bars restaurants and beautiful houses cruising down the river every one waving at us. Tiki boats bring good vibes . We then arrived at the park beach Captain Robbie expertly docked us. Had a swim call and picnic it was so nice pretty much had the place to ourselves. Then back on board to cruise the rest of the inlet. Watched a beautiful sunset! I am really happy with this tiki trip my daughter said it was the highlight of her week.
