The folks who live…read morethere were very friendly and welcoming - they were willing to share why they love living there :). They know someone is always around to help if needed - but not hovering. We noticed a lot of residential interaction with the staff, and they were professional, gentle and truly cared! (Working with older folks you need a lot of patience!!) The entire place is decorated with vibrant "happy" paintings and decor, along with a lot of windows! There is a lot to do if you want to: community puzzles, karaoke, art show, shuffleboard, chess, card games, trips out to shows and dinners/lunch, pickleball, art classes, daily workouts you can do in classes or on your own. Many of the residents worked or volunteered during the day. Or you can just sit and listen to a resident playing the piano! We were able to stay for a couple nights to experience what it might be like to live there. The rooms were clean, comfortable and had full kitchens - even a dishwasher! (you can cook your own meals or go to the dinning room). My husband and I were thinking of moving to Ogden as family lives there. We are in our late 60s and my hubby was limited physically for so long, he was ready to be in an active senior community to be able to socialize. "The 4 walls were closing in" not being able to move much. After his last surgery, he's been pain free and ready to live life again. When we slow down - hopefully many years from now, we will DEFINITELY consider Treeo Ogden! GREAT experience!! Beautiful city!!

Total neglect and filth. Took advantage of covid and not being able to let family inside so they…read moredidn't clean. My grandmother was here and she was completely neglected. Her room was a filthy mess. We couldn't visit due to covid so we had to visit at her outside window. Upon looking in, I couldn't believe my eyes. There were dirty cups, bedding, plates. There was a walker sitting in the middle of the floor which with her being a fall risk already shouldn't have objects in her way. She was sitting in urine soaked pants that she had soaked earlier that day when we saw her. She was not changed or washed. We were just crying in disbelief. There was poop on the wall in the bathroom where it wasn't cleaned up. the girls who were coming in the room during our visit acted put out every time we asked them to do something. My aunt called the owner who didn't reassure her at all, so we moved her out ASAP. Keep your eyes on your loved ones. Whether it is here or somewhere else; no one will care for them how you do - but they shouldn't be neglected and living in filth. This was a year ago this month - perhaps they have changed since. Jason was great to deal with and compassionate - Brandon not so much. Just make sure you're checking in, unexpectedly. And you get in the room and look around.

Not all but most of the CNAs there sit around and talk crap about other workers there and how they want to quit. The residents are probably along some of the meanest people I have ever had to work for. Constantly complaining, which meant the kitchen staff was always quitting and they couldn't keep anyone consistently because of how mean these residents are to staff. The head staff there definetly plays favorites with staff. I was very sad because at first I loved this job. Till the residents made it almost impossible to not cry at work every night. The amount of racist comments I heard coming from residents directed towards the staff was some of the most vile things I've heard. I do NOT recommend this location to anyone with respectable and appreciative family members. This place is where all the entitled old people go to keep complaing about their lives even though they have someone wiping their butt's and cooking for them 3 meals a day. The incompetence started the day we arrived (Friday, 9/19) and is still going on this morning…read more(10/6)! There is NO supervisor available Friday nights and all day on Saturdays. There is nowhere to call and absolutely no one to help. Talk to your nurse...she was the problem! On Sundays the Director of Nursing is there. I spoke to her personally that 1st Sunday, the two sons had major complaints and received a call from the D.O.N. on the 2nd Sunday. We were all in a meeting to discuss the patient and what their prognosis was for him. The D.O.N., Director of Social Services, PT, and the Activities Leader. After the PT talked for most of the time, the Activities Leader asked the patient about his care. When he started telling about that very mornings lack of care, BOTH the D.O.N. AND D.O.S.S. WALKED OUT OF HIS ROOM! STATING THAT THEY HAD ANOTHER MEETING! THEY HAD NOT FINISHED THE MEETING THAT THEY WERE IN! I was so angry and disgusted at the fact that they left the Activity Leader alone to take our complaints, spoke VOLUMES on just how much they DON'T CARE and WHY WE ARE STILL HAVING THE SAME PROBLEMS! All we got was excuses from her and I doubt she passed anything along - with the exception of stating how RUDE they were to leave! Filled out a Grievance/Complaint/Concern Form on the 3rd Sunday! However, you turn these forms in to the Director of Social Services, YES the same one that walked out with the Director of Nursing!! My grievance form will never be seen or acknowledged! DO NOT GO THERE UNLESS YOU CAN FEND FOR YOURSELF BECAUSE THEY REFUSE TO DO ANYTHING FOR YOU! CALL LIGHTS ARE ON FOR HOURS BEFORE SOMEONE FINALLY COMES!

I had a million things happening all at once. It got to a point where I was so overwhelmed I didn't know where to start I was given Emily's #. I gave Emily such short notice but the next day she lined up an afternoon of tours. She is so efficient, helpful, kind.
