Very impressive and welcoming! Clean throughout and the food was top notch!! The folks who live…read morethere were very friendly and welcoming - they were willing to share why they love living there :). They know someone is always around to help if needed - but not hovering. We noticed a lot of residential interaction with the staff, and they were professional, gentle and truly cared! (Working with older folks you need a lot of patience!!) The entire place is decorated with vibrant "happy" paintings and decor, along with a lot of windows! There is a lot to do if you want to: community puzzles, karaoke, art show, shuffleboard, chess, card games, trips out to shows and dinners/lunch, pickleball, art classes, daily workouts you can do in classes or on your own. Many of the residents worked or volunteered during the day. Or you can just sit and listen to a resident playing the piano! We were able to stay for a couple nights to experience what it might be like to live there. The rooms were clean, comfortable and had full kitchens - even a dishwasher! (you can cook your own meals or go to the dinning room). My husband and I were thinking of moving to Ogden as family lives there. We are in our late 60s and my hubby was limited physically for so long, he was ready to be in an active senior community to be able to socialize. "The 4 walls were closing in" not being able to move much. After his last surgery, he's been pain free and ready to live life again. When we slow down - hopefully many years from now, we will DEFINITELY consider Treeo Ogden! GREAT experience!! Beautiful city!!

We only saw her once, when we gave her my mom's medication list after it had been lost. Because she was rarely, if ever, present, we honestly thought Isaac was the main person in charge. That is why we continued bringing our concerns to him instead of Stephanie. From our experience, management felt very absent and disconnected from what was actually happening in the building. After we moved my mom out and posted our review, Stephanie did reach out to us. We chose not to return her call because we felt our concerns had already been communicated repeatedly while my mom was there. After we didn't respond, she had staff members contact us to ask what was so bad and why we didn't want to keep my mom there. We felt this was very unprofessional. We wish these concerns had been taken seriously while my mom was still a resident, rather than after she was already moved out and a negative review was posted. It is very unfortunate that it took losing a resident for our concerns to seem like a big enough issue to be addressed. We had been communicating with staff and Isaac about the things my mom was going without and the problems we were seeing. These issues should have been addressed much sooner. Another extremely concerning incident was my mom's handicap placard being taken directly out of her purse while it was in her room. I find it incredibly disturbing that someone would go through a resident's belongings and steal something as important as her handicap placard. Thankfully, she did not have cash in her purse. While I cannot say who took it, the fact that it happened at all is extremely concerning and makes us question how secure residents' personal belongings are. I believe Pheasant View needs stronger oversight, more consistent management presence, and better training and supervision of staff. Management needs to actually be present in the building and aware of what is happening so employees understand which concerns need to be taken seriously and addressed immediately. I also believe the facility should take resident safety and staff screening very seriously, including appropriate background checks and thorough hiring practices. We wanted my mom to be somewhere where she felt safe, cared for, and respected. Unfortunately, our experience at Pheasant View did not give us that peace of mind.
