Some items are a bit pricey but it's well worth it! Favourite place to get treats and ice cream.

The inside is tight but the courtyard was perfect for outdoor dining. Service was slow but food came out fairly quick. Mains are $28.00 to $52.00. - Sangria ($13.00) - Besamé ($13.00) - Prawn ceviche ($17.00) - tiny portion, unmemorable - Smoked duck breast ($35.00) - polenta was excellent. Cherry fig glace complimented the duck - Elk osso buco ($39.00) - special of the evening. Elk was a touch dry, scallop potatoes were delicious - Herb crusted Pacific red snapper ($31.00) - flaky and moist. Enjoyed the chive risotto, good variety of vegetables (carrots, asparagus, red pepper) - Cioppino ($30.00) - seafood stew with potatoes

It is welcoming and cozy, great for a date night, the patio area just off to the side is really well set up with hanging garden lights to create an outdoor garden experience. Service is prompt and our server was really nice! What we ordered: Crab cake with side salad - generous sized crab cake is mostly crab meat and just enough fillers to hold it together. Tangy dressing on the salad. Smoked beet salad was delicious with a hint of smoke flavour and toasted sunflower seed, pumpkin and sesame seeds add to the overall taste and textures. Mains: Cioppino was very fresh with a tomato based fish broth had a wide variety of seafood- shrimp, squid, mussels, salmon, scallops and fennel, carrots, potatoes and onions, served with grilled sourdough. Very well done! Breaded red snapper was a generous piece of fish pan fried and topped with romesco sauce, served over risotto. This was also served with green beans and carrots. Thinly sliced pickled green beans added a bit of tangy crunch. Everything was prepared with care and cooked perfectly! We might have to come back on our way home! Yum!

We got the appetizer sized fondue and thought we accidentally got the main size because it was so extensive. In addition to that, the cheese fondue was absolutely phenomenal (coming from someone who lived in Switzerland). The service also couldn't have been better and both of us were just blown away by the experience. I wish we didn't come here on our last night in Sun Peaks, or we would have been back the next night

Overall we had a great experience, the ambience was kind of cute, with some European vibe. The place unsurprisingly smells like melted cheese, I mean, you know it before you go, but still it hits you a little bit. Our daughter was not happy about it :) we ordered a cheese fondue, a meat fondue and a chocolate fondue for dessert. The cheese fondue comes with a plate of small bread slices and some olives and pickles, the meat fondue instead comes with a few boiled potatoes, some veggies and beef broth to cook the meat in. Both were very good. The chocolate fondue was meh, the chocolate itself was of poor quality, some unidentified milk chocolate, and it came with 2 graham crackers, 2 dry marshmallows and some assorted fruits. The big downside was the outrageous price of all the dishes, way too expensive IMHO for the quantity and quality, thus the 3*.
