I'm not exaggerating when I say that this is the most underrated gem of Sun Peaks. We came here despite the reviews because I needed a fondue fix and honestly, the fact that this place isn't packed is wild. We got the appetizer sized fondue and thought we accidentally got the main size because it was so extensive. In addition to that, the cheese fondue was absolutely phenomenal (coming from someone who lived in Switzerland). For our last dinner in Sun Peaks we decided for this cheese fondue place, right in the center of the village. Overall we had a great experience, the ambience was kind of cute, with some European vibe. The place unsurprisingly smells like melted cheese, I mean, you know it before you go, but still it hits you a little bit. Our daughter was not happy about it :) we ordered a cheese fondue, a meat fondue and a chocolate fondue for dessert. The cheese fondue comes with a plate of small bread slices and some olives and pickles, the meat fondue instead comes with a few boiled potatoes, some veggies and beef broth to cook the meat in. Both were very good. The chocolate fondue was meh, the chocolate itself was of poor quality, some unidentified milk chocolate, and it came with 2 graham crackers, 2 dry marshmallows and some assorted fruits. The server was friendly but the restaurant itself was very sub par. A very tiny portion of bread was served with an overly liquid fondue making hard to consume all the fondue with the tiny portion of bread that we had. When we asked for more bread, they charged us an excessive amount for another very tiny portion of bread. I love cheese fondue and thus restaurant completely ruined the experience with their penny pinching and over charging. I won't ever be going back nor will I recommend this place to anyone read more

I had made a 5:30 reservation months ago and the first words out of the servers mouth when we sat down was, "We have a 7:30 seating at this table so can you guys be out of here by then?" Then he proceeded to rush us through dinner, asking if he could bring the bill before we'd ordered desert. This was at 6:15. The food was mediocre fondue. Nothing special. Think Melting Pot quality without the variety. There are loads of really lovely, friendly restaurants in Sun Peaks. Don't waste your time here. read more
