So when I decided to move back to St. John's in December and heard that they were opening another location here, I was beyond excited. Its equally as great as its counterparts, the selection of candies and gadgets and gizmo's are beyond amazing, especially in St.John's where alot of this stuff is hard to come by unless you stumble on to it or it comes from a big-box store. The staff are gracious and friendly and a lot of the times they're singing and dancing right along with the music, its a great atmosphere, a lot of places need to model their customer services schemes on Freak Lunchbox. So much bulk candy to choose from, a lot of us 20-somethings can be taken back in time to our childhoods (I know my boyfriend as already tried to improvise Soda-licious from here). There's also Wonka Bars and British Chocolate/Candy to choose from. Also who doesnt like Bobbleheads? Only one minor complaint, they need to brush up on making milkshakes! But i'm sure once summer comes they'll get lots of experience making them!

I swapped half my roasted vegetable sandwich with my wife who had a turkey with avocado sandwich. They were both very good. One thing was that the bottom of mine was soggy but that happens. The turkey sandwich bun was not at all soggy. We enjoyed our drinks and sitting and watching the people go by. The staff were friendly and helpful. You wait for drinks at the counter but they bring food orders to your table. That's a great way to to it as it doesn't take nearly as long to make drinks as it does food. My husband and I love fish cakes so we had to give them a try. They were cod fish cakes, baked just like the window said. They do sell out fast so call to check if it's available or come earlier in the day. They were really good, a little more on the potato side if that's what you're into, but still delicious. Plus the home made tartar sauce was so good, tasted like they made the mayo fresh. Their baked goods also looked divine. Must try in st.Johns
