These guys are awesome! They were able to do a custom in dash kit on my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee which was quite the task as install kits aren't readily available for my Jeep. They were very timely and the quality is amazing. I also had them replace my console lights with LED's to give it an updated look which turned out amazing. Will be returning to have a remote start put in as well as a few other things. read more

Hey everyone I just wanted to put my two cents out there about the shop Rocky Mountain Customs. It took 16 days after nothing but excuse after excuse. All I was going to get done was tires (that I prepaid RMC for) put on my wheels that I already had and a three inch lift. He offered me a free lightbar as well. The only things that they actually completed were the lift (that took them five days and taking it to another shop to complete) and the light bar which took three days to complete. He also offered me a few other things because "he feels really bad about how long it's taking" and those have yet to be seen. Multiple times he said that he had the tires in and I never saw them, nor did they get put on. Steer far clear of Rocky Mountain Customs. Nothing but excuses spew from his mouth. This has been THE worst experience I've ever had with a shop in my entire life. I'm really dumbfounded on how they continue running a business. One redeeming thing they did was give me my money back for the tires, but again more excuses and three trips to the shop. read more

This is the wost company I have ever gone to. They change ownership like underwear and rip their customers off. They are extremely disrespectful and rude when they realize they aren't smart enough to fix the problem. When couldn't fix my car, the owner decided to verbally harass me. Then they preceded to tell me its not their parts that are the problem! Went to a different shop had the problem fixed the 1st time and got treated with respect. They are unqualified, unprofessional, disrespectful people who will just take your money and lie to you. read more

My son's car was in a collision. So we took it into Rocky Mountain. It sat in his yard for a month and a half with no work done on it. Since the windows were out the snow Completely ruined the interior. We gave him $2,000 upfront. We're still trying to get our money back. Most horrible car Experience we have ever had. I would highly advise against doing business with Rocky Mountain Customs. I brought my car to owner Jeff Mauk for a custom interior job where we agreed to have the seats reupholstered into a black leather with suede inserts. They would remove the bench and passenger seat, reupholster them, then swap the finished product in and take the driver's seat to finish the job. He said the passenger seat and back bench would take 3-4 weeks to complete. I also gave him the full payment of $4,500 upfront as he said that was their policy. My passenger seat and back bench were pulled from the car so that the job could begin. Six months have passed, and I do not have these seats back. During this time, I've listened to nothing but excuses, among them saying he was in the hospital, the upholsterer was sick and had sewn through her finger, they found urine on my seats that would delay the job etc. Getting ahold of Jeff via telephone or text would often prove quite difficult. About 4 months into the job, Jeff claimed that the seats were finished and he just had to pick them up from his upholsterer, who did their work offsite. During the course a few days, he kept delaying this pickup. Assuming my seats were finished, I was persistently texting, calling, as well as showing up to the shop unannounced in an effort to try to push for this pickup to happen so we could finally swap the seats and hit the midway mark of this job. After a few days of what felt like babysitting, Jeff said he was not able to pick up the seats from his employee. She had apparently disappeared, as had my seats. Jeff then said he would order a new set of seats from a dealer, and begin the job from the beginning. I asked to see a photo or invoice of these seats. I never received proof of these new seats. I have been driving around in a gutted car for the last 6 months, $4,500 in the hole, no seats, and no updates from Jeff, not to mention the amount of frustration I've gone through. This has been, by far, the most unpleasant business experience I have ever had. I suggest trying your luck elsewhere. read more

The owner is a known con artist. The shop advertises "custom" work it can't facilitate and is often outsourced. They are understaffed and lack proper tools and permits. No business license or certifcations. Beware of deposits before work is done. Shady management. Unfinished projects all over the place. High employee turnover. Buyer Beware! This is the worst place that I have ever dealt with. The owner Jeff is a con-artist and will lie to get your money and business. He does horrible work, he programmed our diesel and in the process we ended up not having any back up lights and the some lights on our dash quit working. A good friend of ours also took his 55 Chevy there to get some wiring done and new upholstery, nothing ended up getting fixed, they super glued the switches back in the dash and they fell out before we got the car out of the shop, the upholstery never got touched but Jeff needed the money up front, $3500 which he would never refund or even answer phone calls. He also left the car out in the weather and the bumpers and body were full of leafs when we picked it up. This place is a nightmare!!! Worst experience of my life!! Linda from Elko NV read more
