DONT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE IF YOU LOVE YOUR CAR !! I was…read morelooking to put on coilovers on my car. I had another company to do this work but the price at the time was more than I had so I looked around for a better price and found it "I thought". Mac Wheels and Tires would do the job for $550, which put it right where I needed to be. Set the appointment. Drop the car off when they said it was ready. I paid them and picked it up. The first thing I noticed was that the alignment was off and making some small thumping noise. So I went back. They got the car in and did the alignment again. No problem. I was told to drive it about 500 miles and bring it back so they could tighten everything up. Brought it back. Picked it up, and it was making some horrible noise coming from the passenger rear. I took it back right then and told them about the noises, and this is when the twilight zone kicks in. The mechanic with me who heard the noise and told me to bring it back and he would spend some time going over it.I went back only to be talked to like a kid by a kid asking over and over "Have you ever had coilovers?" I got upset now because as I told him, the noise is coming from the passenger rear, and he's talking about front wheel bearings. I drove off hot and didn't drive my car for about a week. Then, I decided to take it to the first shop that wanted more money. "Don't you hate that?" Took it there, dropped it off, and within 15 min, they call me with the problem and solution. Mac Wheels put the original bushing on one shock, and the shock mount was very loose on the PASSENGER REAR. The moral of the story is that you get what you pay for and / or pay a little more for more knowledgeable professionals. The other place went through and tightened everything and did a wheel alignment plus the RIGHT Bushing , $135, and a piece of mine. They also put a part that Mac wheels gave me back in a bag with adjustment tools. If you love your car, DO NOT TAKE IT HERE.
