Have you ever called a doctor's office to make an appointment because you dropped something on your…read morefoot, and you want to see if your foot is broken, or cracked or even sprained...and to have the receptionist talk to you in a condescending rude way? If you call here, you will want to jump through the phone, and wring the receptionist's neck. That sounds so extreme, but that's how I felt after getting off the phone with her, and then again having to deal with her when I checked in for my appointment. I didn't appreciate her eye rolls, and under her breath sighs. I was also surprised by her behavior, because she is an older women you would think she would be more professional. The intake nurse was so nice, and helpful. So very kind when taking x-rays of my foot and vitals. Then Dr Dickerson came in and took a look at my x-rays for just a few seconds and said your foot is just fine. I said "Why does it hurt then, it feels like it's broken, especially when I walk." He said he didn't know, but if it continues to hurt come back, and then that was it. I saw him for maybe for 3 or 4 minutes at the most. Weeks later I get a bill from my insurance company saying I owe another $25 for my co-pay. Why did the rude receptionist not charge the correct co-pay in the first place, obviously she isn't very good at her job.

The nurses are all incredibly friendly, informative, and welcoming. Dr. Horvath truly has been incredible in every way. I have never felt rushed or intimidated to ask a question. She has gotten to know me as a person and remembers things about my life when I come in for visits. I feel cared for and safe in her care. When I had my first child, Dr. Horvath happened to be unavailable and Dr. Johnson stepped in and delivered my doctor. He also made me feel immediately comfortable and safe. The day after my daughter was born I was pleasantly surprised when the door to my postpartum room opened and Dr. Horvath came in to check on me and see my baby. She stayed and chatted with me. In every interaction I have had over the past several years with this practice I can say with confidence that the entire staff are professional and truly take the mother's best interest to heart. Dr. Horvath, in particular, is a quality doctor and a wonderful person. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for an OB.

I appreciate their effectiveness, but willingness to treat me as an individual. Dr Raj has always remembered me since the very beginning. He knew personal things about me and always brought them up. They are quick and efficient, but I have never felt like a number being pushed through the conveyor belt like I have at other doctors (like an OB when I was pregnant- that was sad!!) Dr Raj often jokes and makes me feel more comfortable during procedures or appointments. I feel like he is a friend. He knows what my insurance requires and how to get what I need while using my coverage. Since I've been going for years, I get interested in things they are doing or seeing during procedures so I sometimes ask questions. He is so great to answer things and let me know what is going on. I never feel uncomfortable, even when I'm getting shots in my tailbone and am rather....exposed. He is respectful and professional. Anna, the PA (I think) is awesome too! She is so caring and takes time to talk if you ask. Again, she does have a pattern of the way she asks questions, does the prescriptions, and leaves, but that's just because they see so many people in a day and if there are no other needs, then why not be fast? But I've had her administer trigger point injections or stay and talk during my medication refill appointment. I know she cares and wants what is best for me. She's been honest when I've asked about my future and where my treatment is going. I really appreciate her. Some of the nurses are also memorable and great. At least I think they are nurses. Or assistants of some type. I'm not sure titles. I would know their names if I heard them, but can't recall them all. One, I think Stephanie, loves Batman and has a lot of personality. She is fun and makes me feel comfortable. There is also an older woman who helps with procedures. I always feel a little better when I see her. It means the procedure is close and I'm in good hands. She's funny and very knowledgeable. She takes time to explain what she's seeing as she sets up they X-ray. She has experience as a patient and professional, so she understands what it feels like as well as what is going on. She often makes jokes and is so fun. Together these professionals make me feel welcome and well taken care of. I went to another pain clinic before this and I hated going. I waited forever. The doctors were cold. I was a number. It was terrible. I'm so glad I changed doctors and feel grateful to be a patient here.

Holy Moly I had a long wait to see Dr Smith. Apparently there was an emergency, and one of his…read morestaff called in sick. I wish they would have called me to tell me that he was running late, so that I didn't have to take so much time off work just to have Dr Smith look at my ankle. If I wasn't in so much pain I would have left, and came back a different day. My appointment was at 4:20pm and I didn't see Dr Smith until 5:40pm. Mind you they close at 5:00pm. The receptionist was vacuuming, and cleaning up to go home, before I was even seen. When Dr Smith did see me, he was ever so nice, and I didn't feel like he was rushing me out the door because it was past closing time. I insisted on taking xrays. I don't know if that was a waste of money, or not, since nothing showed up on the xrays. No breaks or sprains that he could see. He wanted me to wear a boot. (I just got rid of the brand new one that I have never worn, that cost me an arm and leg) I said I didn't want to by another one unless he knew for 100% that it would fix my foot pain. He couldn't guarantee it, so I opted just for an ankle brace, which helps, but still hasn't fixed my foot pain. I'm supposed to go back in two weeks, but I'm just going to see how this ankle brace works first, before I spend another couple hundred dollars for an office visit.

It took a lot for this busy mom to even get to the doctor in the first place and I left feeling so defeated and humiliated. There seemed to be a huge misunderstanding and I am not a confrontational person at all but he snapped at me and said I was interrupting him. I worked in the medical field for years and we would never have treated a patient or spoken to them in the way that he did to me. Dr. Smith is very busy and probably could care less if he loses me as a patient but hopefully I can prevent someone from making the same mistake that I did. A little kindness can go a long way........ ( I just want to add that the one silver lining was the receptionist. She was very polite and professional -unlike Dr. Smith.)

The receptionist is the friendliest lady, makes you feel at home. The chiropractors are both incredible. I have now seen both and can say they are incredibly educated and powerful, they know how to make you good as new. I've had bad experiences with chiropractors in the past and once I found this place there's no turning back for me! The massage therapists are also great and very affordable if your insurance won't cover it.
