Incredibly dismayed by my recent boarding experience at Unleashed. I got a call saying that my dog…read morehad been bitten by another dog at their facility and the staff didn't realize until they were putting dogs back in their kennels and noticed blood. Luckily, I was 15 minutes away when I got the call and rushed the dog to an emergency vet on a Sunday night. I got a $750 bill to stitch up a 1.5 inch gash in the middle of his ear, plus puncture marks. Nobody at Unleashed reached out to me to check on the welfare of my dog after this incident and when I finally reached out to resolve the bill after encouragement by the vet herself, the Unleashed manager Billy told me that the facility is not insured for such incidents, and it was the other dog owner's responsibility to pay my bill, and they were not being cooperative. Then 9 days passed where nobody responded to my repeated emails or phone calls. Billy told me today that he's done all that he can do, though nothing's been done. My dog is alright now, not that anyone at Unleashed seems to care. I should have heeded the other reviews about bites at their facility.

She has learned NOT to trust that the world is a safe place. She is a Wheaten who is so loving and gentle - and Wheatens' spirits can be broken easily by harsh treatment. Make sure you know what you are getting into and if you need a trainer with a heart, this is NOT the place. they don't even look at your dog in the eyes, --they don't pet it ever- or treat it with love. I learned the hard way. It's been 4 months and my dog still isn't her old self. I have a clinical PhD and this is not how animals learn to behave in a safe, loving world.

The groomer only took an hour and a half to groom him. Yes, our dog was matted, so I understand why the body was cut short, but he did not invest time in making his face look like a schnauzer. He rushed and didn't seem to care about what I had expressed to him. He even came to the door--needless to say, I was running a few minutes behind schedule--and took our dog because my special-needs adult son opened the door. He could have waited a few minutes or called me.
