Incredibly dismayed by my recent boarding experience at Unleashed. I got a call saying that my dog…read morehad been bitten by another dog at their facility and the staff didn't realize until they were putting dogs back in their kennels and noticed blood. Luckily, I was 15 minutes away when I got the call and rushed the dog to an emergency vet on a Sunday night. I got a $750 bill to stitch up a 1.5 inch gash in the middle of his ear, plus puncture marks. Nobody at Unleashed reached out to me to check on the welfare of my dog after this incident and when I finally reached out to resolve the bill after encouragement by the vet herself, the Unleashed manager Billy told me that the facility is not insured for such incidents, and it was the other dog owner's responsibility to pay my bill, and they were not being cooperative. Then 9 days passed where nobody responded to my repeated emails or phone calls. Billy told me today that he's done all that he can do, though nothing's been done. My dog is alright now, not that anyone at Unleashed seems to care. I should have heeded the other reviews about bites at their facility.

Make sure you know what you are getting into and if you need a trainer with a heart, this is NOT the place. they don't even look at your dog in the eyes, --they don't pet it ever- or treat it with love. I learned the hard way. It's been 4 months and my dog still isn't her old self. I have a clinical PhD and this is not how animals learn to behave in a safe, loving world.

He rushed and didn't seem to care about what I had expressed to him. To this day, the money spent was absolutely worth it. We learned how to continue training at home, and have always received support with any questions or concerns. We are so happy with the results, we drive an hour each way to board our dog with Innovative K9 when we have trips out of town. Now they offer pick up and drop off which makes it even more convenient! We unfortunately haven't had an opportunity to participate in the group lessons on Saturdays at the park.
