They also damaged the heat tape when they put it back on. That is why it was tripping all winter. We are lucky we did not have a fire. Now that we settled with the insurance company, we now have to repair everything. Hogan roofing was amazing until the winter when their job did not hold up. They replaced the roof (5 years old) because of a manufacture warranty. We had zero issues in four years. The first year after it was built, there were a few minor issues because of the heat tape placement (which were resolved), but we had no issues after that. Now we have heat tape issues at the breaker causing them to trip. They are taking no responsibility for the brand new roof that they installed which leaked the entire winter. It does not matter how much snow falls in a year, no roof should ever leak if it is done properly.

Which they came out and repaired. I had another leak and figured it was this again. Had them come out. Found out the leak was with my chimney. No big deal. Except they will charge you 600$ for an hour of a guy standing on your roof running your hose onto your leak. They won't tell you it's 600$. Then Harley the front desk person will berate you and call you names and say things like "I wish I didn't have to pay my bills". Since I've had more leaks in my brand new roof in other spots. I won't dare call them again because I'll just get charged 600$ each time. I wouldn't even call them if the entire roof fell off and blew away. Avoid at all costs.

The…read morehuge hailstorm that took out Colorado Mills also hit my neighborhood pretty hard and finished off the roof. I put off doing the roof as long as I could but this spring, I could wait no more. I found Altitude Contracting here on Yelp, but they were also recommended by my Allstate agent as well. I called them and Kyle Schroder the owner got right back with me to set up a time to come look at the house. He came and gave us an estimate and then went to work to help me file a claim with Allstate. As it turns out, Allstate was pretty hard to work with and Kyle went above and beyond to get Allstate to pay what they should. Once we were able to get Allstate on board, Kyle and company went to work. While it took 3 months to get Allstate to pay, it only took Altitude ONE DAY to do the roof from start to finish. They not only replaced the felt and shingles, but also the vent covers, flashing and all the other metal. It looked FABULOUS and when I looked around at the end of the day, you absolutely could not tell they had been there other than having great looking shingles. No trash, no debris, no nails or screws left behind to get in your tires. Perfect job. Now, they absolutely were NOT the cheapest (I had gotten quotes for up to 2000.00 less). However, I have had several roofs done over the years at various properties and Altitude was the fastest and most professional roofing company I have ever worked with. This guy should not be allowed to talk to anyone. Then at the end I'm ready to hang up how rude he is and tells me. "Your quote will get there in 2 weeks" I ask why: "Dont you do anything in Grand County you just have to wait and if you don't like it go somewhere else it's 2 weeks for a quote after a visit" The quote was $14,000 over priced from any other quote we have received.
