HORRIBLE!!!! My…read morehusband and I had reserved a U-Haul from 10:00-4:00 today to pick some stuff up from is childhood home that's being sold. This is the last day we can get into the house. So, he goes at 10:15 to pick up the truck and it's not there. The dude working says that someone hasn't returned the truck, and then told us that we could just call the Eddystone U-Haul to re-route our reservation. My husband asked where that is, and the guy says "YOU CAN JUST GOOGLE IT." By the way, that Eddystone location is CLOSED today. What kind of shitty person tells someone that they can't fulfill their reservation and then does absolutely, positively NOTHING to assist them. Now we're on the phone trying to call any open truck rental joint so we can get this stuff done today. 0 stars. We did NOT get what we were promised and the customer service here is PATHETIC. When I arrived, the guy at the front desk was very unhelpful and very nonchalant. Basically gave off the impression of this: Tough luck, go to Havertown ( about 5 miles away). Uhh... I walked to this location so that I could get a truck so I could move out of my apartment and you're telling me to go to another location much further away after I walked there... Nobody from Uhaul contacted me to tell me the truck was broken/unavailable Now I've wasted an entire day and have had reschedule and rearrange a whole lot of other appointments and such. He wasn't helpful at all and not only forgot to give us our furniture pads (he called later saying we could come pick up anytime), but also never told us we'd have issues on the drop off location because of it.
