The self-checkout machines are awful. There is supposed to be an attendant, but the attendant is not always available to constantly deal with the machine. One manager I spoke to, who was running a conventional register, acted put out that I was complaining about this. I've experienced this now several times so if there is long lines at the conventional registers I will just move on out of the store and shop elsewhere. In fact if there are lines at the conventional checkouts when you arrive, my advice is to turn around and head elsewhere.

Store blamed me for the replacement; however, I'm not sure how I can be to blame when the last two individuals that handled the alcohol was the cashier and a second employee that put the bottles in a carryout box.
